Cavuto: You are backing the ticket, but you're not wholeheartedly enthusiastic about it, is that about right?
Ron: Well, that's about right, I haven't endorsed the ticket.
Cavuto: You're not quite on board with this ticket then, does that mean you could leave this convention not supporting it?
Ron: No, I'm not intending to endorse anybody.
Cavuto: Is there any horse in this race you like?
Ron: You mean in the total race?
Cavuto: Barack Obama, Mitt Romney.
Ron: At this point I have no plans to endorse anybody.
Cavuto: But you're going to vote?
Ron: I will probably vote, I've done that in the past.
Cavuto: And would you err more on the side of Mitt Romney...or not?
Ron: On certain issues.
Cavuto: Is there a possibility you could vote for Barack Obama?
Ron: Not too likely.
Cavuto: Is there a possibility you could vote for the Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson?
Ron: Well, there's always possibilities of everything, but I haven't made up my mind, put me down as undecided. Let me just tell you what happened in '76, Ford was president and I was a big Reagan supporter, but back then, I wasn't...nobody could really care, but I never endorsed the ticket and it was a non-event, I just didn't endorse it because Reagan was my guy.
To this day, we have no idea who Ron voted for. You can interpret this passage how you want, but Ron seemed clearly open to voting for Romney.
