Romney plummets, Santorum rises in new Gallup poll

Yeah, it means that he would've been at about 18% the last day of polling. Perhaps it was the story that came out about how Romney pushed for a federal version of his healthcare bill in 2009?

Some of it may be related to what Ben Swann was talking about recently, Romney has been throwing his weight around with money in each successive state just trying to burn down whoever is rising and conservative voters, especially social conservative are starting to get resentful.
Swann warned that Romney might suffer a backlash because of this practice. (he was speaking specifically about Ohio, but I think it could extend to other areas)

End of the day as much as I don't enjoy Santorum I'm glad to see Romney going down.
