Romney, our biggest threat?

As it currently stands:

Thompson is almost flat out broke (and hardly doing anything to prop up his dismal shot at the nomination), Guiliani has less than $700,000 cash-on-hand, McCain is in heavy debt, Tancredo is out (Hunter might pull-out soon as well), Tancredo threw his support behind Romney and Huckachunks hasn't been able to keep the skeletons in the closet.

That said, it seems like the only ones going into the primaries with deep pockets (for two very different reasons that may help our guy) is Romney and Paul. Romney has deep personal pockets and Paul has gotten tons of money from tens-of-thousands of donors.

Romney, according to the MSM polls, has been doing pretty well in Iowa and New Hampshire. According to our own grassroots reports, so is Paul.

I personally feel like we have met our main opponent for the primaries and the Republican nominee will be either Paul or Romney. We have to push hard and make sure we get those votes secured and produce great showings in Iowa and New Hampshire. If Romney wins Iowa, we NEED to win New Hampshire. If we win Iowa, we have to go for the win and secure New Hampshire.

Anyone in agreement and/or have any strategies from where to move on from here.

I have thought this since the beginning.

I really torn who I think would be best in the #1 and #2 spots in Iowa. Huck or Romney. I have noticed that quite a few people outside the paul camp have noticed that the only way the Romney supports play is by ripping sinage down and putting up their own. Nice.

In terms of political foes yes. In terms of real threats no.

The only thing that can beat Paul is criminal subterfuge in the form of a false flag or an assa$$ination.

So then keep your cameras rolling and videotape everything the media reports especially the first two hours after a major event. The enemy likes to edit newscasts afterwards and treat the edits as the real history. Keep the cameras and video recorders rolling and next time they try something they will be disclosed.

Or just maybe they will be too cautious to make such an attempt. We need to keep our minds open and our eyes open. This is the best deterrent against their criminal ways.

Ron Paul is heading towards a political landslide. Stay sharp and pray for Ron Paul and for our nation.

Hucks would be better to win iowa.....coz there is NO WAY the GOP is gonna let him get the nomination......He CANNOT WIN A GENERAL ELECTION

What the elites are instigating at the moment is a push toward Romney so that he can take iowa away from hucks at the last moment....hucks rise was manufactured by the elites and was MEANT to be temporary in order to block out our man's fast rise at a critical time......now the elites want huckabee gone...but not gone enough to allow Ron into second place........the elites have a juggling act on their hands and you guys have gotta take the fight up to them RIGHT NOW.

Agreed that Romney is the long term competition. Always has been with his cash. Huck stole momentum that should've been ours and will be a barrier to overcome. I don't think his support is going to evaporate overnight because of the negative press.

Don't discount the fact that there are forces in the GOP the WANT to lose the General Election.

McCain has no money. The only thing he can accomplish is preventing our winning NH. I'm not of the opinion we HAVE to win NH to get great momentum going into super-Tuesday

I can't stand Mitt, or Rudy, or Huck.

To me they are some sort of Neocon wannabe. I wouldn't rule out Huckabee though, he has already gained some votes that he won't lose.

I agree that the biggest threat is Romney. He's so slick. People always fall for that bull. We need to start pounding on his flip floppin' and the immoral way he made his money. I can't find the article I read about his company- i hate when that happens. Help me out here- Romney is truly the enemy-
