What a phony charade.

Romney, who as governor implemented a heath overhaul with similarities to Obama's plan, has been a steadfast critic of Democrats' law and eyes it as a key policy plank as he weighs a campaign for the White House. Recognizing his own vulnerability for implementing a similar plan, Romney turned his ire on Democrats.

"I think it is a very bad piece of legislation," Romney told ABC News. "I think the president should have been more attuned to what we did in our own state."

OH gee god.....I dont want what Romney did in his own state, what a MORON. All he had to say is that such a move is unconstitutional at the federal level...how can he be so stupid? Really....screw Romney. So what we get rid of Obamacare and get a Romney lite plan? What a damn idiot.

What I don't get is how out of touch and dumb this dude is. The easiest and most non confrontational answer, that more accurately jives with the mood of the country is that at the federal level it is not proper to pass this kind of legislation, and that at the state level in Mass it was tailored more to the people there, and therefore is workable(although its not).

That is how that slimeball could have phrased it and been perfectly fine, yet what we see is that he is not only a slimeball but that he also is a freaking moron.

Mitt would be MUCH better off coming out admitting that his own health plan, which was very similar to Obamacare, was a failure and he regrets ever pushing it. That is why he can now oppose Obamacare. But this acting like he doesn't have anything to do with socialized health care is just absurd. Can politicians ever admit they were wrong?

The man is a walking, talking Ken doll.
It doesn't matter what he says - his appearance means he'll be the candidate that local Republican parties will break their own rules to support.

Someone in the opposition has to have a dossier on corporate raider Romney and BAIN capital. The man's company destroyed companies and corporations and shipped them with 10,000's of American jobs overseas. He has created nothing... he has destroyed almost everything he's gotten his hands on, even in the political arena. But, with the exception of spending $50 million of his own money to buy the votes, and favors, then again, that's the same old Romney of corporate raiding, BAIN Capital.

Fuck Mittens. His Romneycare needs to be something hung around his neck to take him OUT of the Presidential running.

The media has made him the front runner and the Republican sheeple voters are just following along. It needs to be continually drilled into their heads that Romneycare = Obamacare. Once they wake up to that this guy will drop like a rock.

I do not believe a word liberal republican Mitt 'I Like Mandates' Romney says.

So a Federal Judge has ruled obamacare is unconstitutional:

So if the Supreme court agrees, does that mean the part of Romneycare that forces individuals to buy health insurance will become invalidated too?

The constitution does not authorize congress to force the people to purchase anything. However, the 10th amendment specifically states that any powers not granted to the congress are reserved to the states and the people. The states can pass all sorts of weird laws, but congress is restricted only to the powers granted to it by the constitution.

So to answer your question, no.
