Romney helping Gingrich pay off his campaign

Important news! We need to look for information on our delegates in Georgia and South Carolina, I don't remember how well we're doing, but, correct me if I'm wrong, I read that in Georgia we have, at least 1/4 of the national delegates and in South Carolina we were able to get some too. Somebody give us some updates please!

At the meeting, Gingrich offered some of his ideas and suggestions to the Romney campaign, especially on the importance of minority outreach.

Isn't he the one who wanted poor black kids to scrub bathroom floors and be janitors?

Gingrich could have easily not been offered a job- Romney's offer to pay down his debt would have been enough.

In other new Mitt Romney announces plans for a new cabinet position, secretary of the moon.

Let's be clear here, it isn't ROMNEY offering to pay off the debt. He is merely offering to help Newt get money from his other suckers.

Also, IIRC Newt was worth somewhere in the $50million range....

I noticed last night on Bain Capital TV, I mean Hannity, that Herman Cain seems to be a likely vp pick for Romney that they aren't hyping as a potential pick. Most likely they want it to seem like a surprise like when Palin was picked to generate 'buzz' and eat up the news cycle. The neocons see this as a horse race rather than a battle of ideology and to a establishment National Review Republican they see Cain as black and a 'bridge' to the tea party types. Cain was a fan of Gingrich and this appears to be an appeasement gesture to Cain by Romney.

...Yeah, no, the odds of Herman Cain even being considered by Romney are laughable. Cain self-destructed due to a sexual disaster, remember? And even if he hadn't he is far too risky anyways.

They'll go either with a safe choice like Portman, or the logical choice- Rubio (unless he doesn't want it or has something *truly* negative in his past history).

If true, I doubt he got that way by paying his debts. E.g., the Tiffany credit line.

My recollection that 12 others who donated the maximum when Pawlenty endorsed Mitt were members of Mitt's family, at least that is how it is reported.

Much more than that actually:

Romney loyalists, including 11 members of his family, several key fundraisers, his campaign aides and employees of the private-equity firm he helped create, donated more than $330,000 to Pawlenty since Aug. 14 when he withdrew from the race after a third-place finish in Iowa's straw poll, according to the USA TODAY analysis. The former Minnesota governor endorsed Romney less than a month later.

It is sad to think my $2500 would be better spent bribing politicians than trying to market liberty.

I would bet every cent to my name that Cain will not be VP.

How is Rubio logical? He has so many financial 'mistakes', speaks like a lawyer, and has hardly any political experience. I'm just saying that is how neocons think. I mean why do they like Condi Rice? Its not because of her policies... she doesn't have any not pertaining to war.
