Romney CAUGHT CHEATING - Campaign Over - Paul vs. Obama ( I hope so)

This is a "cease and desist" letter he supposedly wrote to soemone in AR :

https://docs.google.com/file/d/1Vw_...DCCFKJqpvcGm4_NuYXz1JOn9XlemOmZ/preview?pli=1

He hasn't said whether or not that letter was really written by him, but it's not too far off from what he says in the recordings, and on his twitter:
https://twitter.com/usa_free_press

Strong statements, indeed.

That has to be the funniest, most idiotic thing I've read in a long time. These people are nobodies. They can't even possibly begin to dream about doing the things stated in the letter.

I haven't been following this at all, but are these the people running this lawsuit? That would be hilarious! Lord Almighty, I'd give a lot to see such bombastic blowhards run out of court!

Yeah they are a bunch of idiots! It's not like they went to law school for 6+ years or anything. Tell me, oh intelligent one, what exactly do you do?

Well, it's starting to sound like Gilbert really did write that letter.

http://www.dailypaul.com/243954/our-delegates-want-this-lawsuit-why-are-we-fighting-it

I strongly suggest reading through it again slowly, and decide if this is something you wish to be a part of. I am all for fighting to the bitter end, but not like this: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...(-I-hope-so)&p=4529740&viewfull=1#post4529740

The more May 2012 posters that post stuff like this, the more I trust the lawsuit is the right way to go.

I say it's worth it. If you DON'T think it's worth it, that's when you need to consider whether you should be here.

With all of the negative consequences of our current path, I don't understand how anybody could say that it isn't "worth it" to promote liberty through political, educational or whatever means necessary.

It's like we're on a bus headed for a cliff and the driver just passed out, it doesn't fucking matter whether it looks like you might or might not be able to get to the front of the bus and take control and hit the brakes, you do it because you are driving off a cliff! If you're toward the back of the bus, then you yell out to somebody in the front of the bus to do it. You don't just sit there.

college is 4 years
law school is 3.

Lots of people finish their bachelors in under 4. I imagine some of the type of students that are the law-school type could easily do this too and may be likely to do so in order to save some money. Hence why I see nothing wrong with the 6+ years assessment. :p

That or you open the rear door and jump out.

Even if this lawsuit somehow worked (It won't), Santorum still has more delegates than us.

Maybe, maybe not... Depends on how accurate the AP delegate counts are, and I think it's safe to say they're not all that accurate. Also, if the lawsuit is successful and all delegates know they are not bound, then RP has a lot more delegates voting for him on the first vote than he currently "officially" has.

Most importantly though, RP will have his name placed into nomination, while Santorum will not. Because Santorum only has the support of a plurality of delegates from 3 states, I'm pretty sure. RP will have the 5 states needed, at least he should, so what that means is, you have all these Santorum delegates and a lot of them would rather watch gay porn with Muslims than vote for Romney. Abortion is a big issue for a lot of these folks and Ron Paul is much more clearly pro-life than Romney, and that one powerful issue alone means we may end up with a lot of Santorum delegates actually casting their votes for RP if given the choice.

I'm going to point out that my actual credentials aren't very relevant on the internet- anything I say will be distrusted unless I give you my name (which I will not), and frankly should be distrusted given the nature of anoyminity on the world wide web. But as you have asked I will tell you:

Currently I am teaching English at a unviersity in China, as well as trying to expand a variety of American businesses to China. Previously I was highly involved in a multiple of Republican (and, occasionally, Democratic) campaigns, the most famous campaigns being John McCain's (as you may or may not know I am not a supporter of Ron Paul's ideology) and Tim Pawlenty's. I went to an Ivy League University, where I studied history.

As stated this isn't a question of neither intelliengence nor of accomplishment. This isn't even about the lawsuit, or Dr. Paul's campaign. This is simply that the letter reminds me of letters sent by the secretary of dictators, not someone few have ever heard of. This kind of blackmailing and intimidation sounds, at the very best, unprofessional, and at worst they sound like sensationalist bullies. I can guaruntee you that they can't ensure that all those who vote for Romney will never clam public office.

What is your purpose for being here, then?

I get asked this a lot- and I don't want to derail the thread anymore than it has already been derailed, so I'll answer once and any further questions you (or anyone) might have can be sent to me via private message.

When I joined this site I thought that the support for Libertarianism would increase within the next few years, thus making it important for me to understand the viewpoints of actual libertarians (rather than people's impressions of libertarians). It is something of a learning experience, I suppose. For a similar reason I also go on hard-core liberal/progressive websites, and what you would call card-core 'neocon' chatrooms.

The neo-con chats are probably right up your alley, then.

Oh, I see. Just take your old boss, McCain, and think the exact opposite position.

You do realize that the neocons are really just hard-core liberal/progressives calling themselves "conservatives", don't you?
