This is from the Lawyers for Ron Paul lawsuit. The lawyer who seems to be in charge make some strong claims and has since the beginning. There is no doubt that the Romney campaign has cheated, whether it was others engaging in the activities for them or whether his campaign was directly involved. In either case, justice would be disqualifying him and prosecuting all involved.

They have been serving papers to the defendants, which is pretty much every state chairman and the RNC chairman. They filed a motion to dismiss, but this lawyer doesn't believe the judge is going to allow that based on his past. Supposedly, we should expect to have a ruling before the convention.

I'm not sure what to think of the whole thing, but someone had to challenge the shady business that has been going on in our elections.

Eric Holder has clearly violated the law but he won't go to prison because congress lacks the cojones. Are are and judges in the land with the cojones to put the "presumptive nominee" of the GOP in prison? That said I wish these lawyers well in their efforts.

Edit: And remember from back in 2004 when two GOP campaign workers were convicted with rigging the Ohio recount? These scum get caught red handed and only their patsies pay the price. The lawyers for Ron Paul should definitely push this even if the only result is some low level patsies go to prison. After all, if/when they go to prison someone will have to take their place and it might as well be liberty candidates. But that's the height of my personal expectations.

Yes. The lawyer's plan though was that if all delegates were unbound, other presidential candidates would enter the field, and thus would diminish Romney's support.

I don't know what to think of this whole deal. But, I am glad to see someone trying to do something about all the blatant cheating. I just hope it works.

It has come to my attention that you claim to be a Ron Paul supporter yet you are informing Delegates that
if they do not vote for your crime boss, Mitt Romney, that you will commit the felony crime of harassing
these duly elected Delegates for the rest of their lives.

Since you may be in Federal prison for your crime of harassing a Delegate to a National Convention, it may
prove difficult for you to harass these Plaintiffs.

Some say Ron's whole run was pure fantasy. If you can't support such an effort then why are you even here? Ron winning it all has always been a long shot considering the establishment is fighting him every step of the way.

Don't you see? Voting is all we have. That's it. There is no other way for us to influence how we are governed. Take away our right to vote in a free fair election, and nothing else matters. We have all lost everything.

I can't speak for what he meant but I can speak for where I think he was coming from...

Continuing to live in this fantasy world where Ron will still win and other liberty candidates don't exist only hurts this entire movement as a whole.

Only once we become rational about what can be won or lost will we truly be able to formulate any real plan for the post-Ron Paul era.
