Rise for Liberty, Moneybomb May 17th - Planning and Promotion

Everything here looks great, getting excited about this already. I love the graphics, the theme, and the hashtag will make it a lot easier to find others to re-tweet. My only suggestions from promoting In It To Win It are to make sure that everyone clearly knows that the site isn't accepting any money itself. I came across that a lot, people asking if it was "official" or having people post a warning to others that it was a scam. It felt like I was wasting so much time having to post on every "scam" comment because once people see that word they're unlikely to click on it.

Also, I'm not sure if you only want people to sign up if they are actually going to donate themselves but I saw a lot of "I wish I could help but I don't have any money" or they wouldn't join the event because they weren't sure if they'd have the money. I'd tell them that they could still help by joining the event, inviting their friends, and changing their profile picture. I figured that would both help spread the word and remind them in case they end up getting money later. So maybe have the part where people enter their email say something like "Sign the pledge to Rise For Liberty - and be reminded about the moneybomb".

Thanks, great suggestions. I'll change few words out.

I'm nearly finished with what will be the first launch, allowing us to starting collecting pledges.

I have no doubt, that the site will evolve in the coming weeks.

That looks great, makes it very clear and should draw in the anti-CISPA people. And having 4 weeks to get the word out there and collect pledges is awesome.

+ 7000 people invited to facebook event allready.

please invite your friends and port the info to your friends walls.

I'll get more banners and some avatars out tomorrow.

I need a snack, shower and a bed.

:)

By the way, best thing I've ever created:

Funny thing is, when you go to the Moneybomb site and click share on Facebook, that's the image it picks as the thumbnail. Love it!

i´m blasting facebook big time today like i did yesterday, let´s see how well it works! ;)

That's great for 2 days. I'm excited to see how big this can be with so much time to spread and for people to plan and save.

Love the talking head, and used "Let it not be said that we did nothing" on posts for InToWin and it seemed to get a lot of good responses. I still haven't given up on this MoneyBomb and I need a day away from the computer but I'll try to do what whatever I can to post it around tomorrow.

Media Blackout?
If they won't come to us then we take the fight to them!

Everything is running smooth.

I should have more promotional stuff tonight, and the site is now building pledges and being shared.
