My thoughts remain the same as when I first saw the real time video of his killing.

Entrance wound mid to low neck, on his right side, exit wound with massive soft tissue damage on his left side.

Wound was, to my eye, consistent with a fairly high power .30 caliber rifle.

.308 Winchester - .30-06 Springfield - .338 Lapua, something like that.

WRT to the OP video the wound damage and severity can vary widely due to bullet placement, retained energy downrange, rifle quality and bullet construction.
