How did he confess?​

Mr Cox told the press that a member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend, who then contacted a Sheriff with information that Robinson had implied he had committed the shooting.

The accused shooter is said to reside in a six-bedroom home valued at $600,000 in Washington, Utah - approximately 260 miles south of the shooting scene, the Daily Mail reports.

Officials released details about their suspected gunman saying they appeared "to be of college age" and "blended in" to the roughly 3,000 large university crowd who went to see Kirk's debate.

Bullet casings discovered by investigators had several inscriptions engraved on them, Mr Cox said. The casing that had been fired read: “notices bulges OWO what’s this?”

Mr Cox said there were three unfired casings:

This guy was filmed walking to the campus, but the press-conference I'm hearing, the police say he drove to campus and that he was wearing a red shirt and light-colored shorts, which is zero visual match for this guy. Then, they claim he was arrested in these very clothes (two days later!) which makes zero sense since anyone attempting to commit a crime like this and not get caught knows that they had better change their clothes (and somehow dispose/destroy them).
