It was hard to stomach last year even with C4L and YAL having such a strong presence. It was like a circle-jerk of out-of-touch, cranky, self-righteous old folks. I can't imagine what this year's going to be like.

CPAC is dead without the youth. They don't have the youth, so they're terminal at this point. I suggest we euthanize the organization and put them out of their misery. Then again, it might be fun to see them wither away as their worldview goes the way of the dinosaurs.

Sorry, but we're going to see a lot more of Herman Cain. As the Colbert thing has made clear, Cain has definitely made a play to stay in the limelight for as long as he can.
