I just got off the phone with my friend. He was leaving work from downtown Des Moines and I heard people shouting Ron Paul and honking their horns. Someone drove by in a "Ron Paul Mobile" - had Ron Paul's name plastered all over it. It sounded like a pretty chaotic scene.

On the south side of Des Moines, as the ball dropped on the first, my friend walks in with a nice color Ron Paul ad. He said it was on his car. I found one on mine too. Someone was actually out putting these things on people's car's in the middle of the night.

I talked to the Polk county chairman a few days ago as I was organizing my precinct. I asked him if we were in good shape. He's always been pretty honest about these things and when we're not, he'll say it. He said we were in pretty good shape so I asked him how many supporters we had. He said, I'm not sure, we having trouble keeping track. "What do you mean," I asked. He said, "The names are coming in by the hundreds... every hour."

As it turns out, my precinct chairman is none other than, Steve Scheffler. Yeah, you heard it right - the president of the Iowa Christian Alliance. The old timers on the board will remember what happened on June 30, when we were excluded from his debate. A crowd of over a thousand people, completely overwhelmed their cute little event. Well tonight, he will suffer further blowback as I give a speech about Ron Paul in his precinct. God help you, Steve Scheffler...

Oh man....I'd give my left teste to be there to see that.

Be professional, be nice, and show confidence such as that you KNOW Ron Paul is going to DESTROY everyone in a landslide. Keep the troops pumped up!!!

The rest of the world is watching you Freedom Fighters in Iowa. We're ALL behind you 100%.

great to hear!

I am requesting lots of videos too! (if you are allowed to record in the caucus..which i imagine you can)

Wow. I'd pay money to be there. too bad I don't have it right now :(

I really hope this is video'd

That is great news by the original poster, we really need a consolidated thread to keep on information for the folks there in Iowa. Keep up the good work.

That guy was such an arrogant punk, but we used that story to bring awareness about RP to several groups here in NC & SC.

Love the first video on the main page of Ron Paul Air Corps. As I was watching it, I was thinking that perhaps the most original aspect to the Ron Paul phenomenon is the FUN it has made electioneering - at least, for Ron Paul supporters.

Who would have imagined it, that such a staid old process could be enlivening, thrilling, and so very entertaining!?
