RFK Jr. Says He Would Sign ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban if it Reached His Desk

I'm not surprised. He is a democrat. Those of you are looking for a candidate who agrees with you on every issue are always going to be disapointed. I think RFK jr says a lot of good things. DeSantis is getting my vote but I don't agree with him 100%.

I found those candidates: Ron Paul, Massie and Rand. Of all of the candidates running for President now, based solely on their stated positions, Vivek Ramaswamy comes closest. Ron Paul had him on his show, and it is apparent that Vivek was influenced by Ron.

As I watched Ron Paul speak with him, it seemed pretty clear to me that Ron didn't seem, how shall I put it, keen on him.

They guy is a complete opportunist.

Another brilliant political move. He cannot lose Democrat voters in order to win the Democrat primary.

So, all we need is the GOP to say no, and he says no.

How many other Democrats have you ever heard say what he ACTUALLY SAID?

"Let the Republicans decide..., if they also want it, I'll sign... "

He cannot win a Democratic primary if all the Democrats think of him as a Republican.

Sure maybe so, but Ramaswamy has zero chance of winning the primary. If Trump is gone DeSantis can win the primary AND the general. He has got more good things done in Florida than the rest of the field combined.

The guy runs what is currently the best state in the country. Argue with that and name a better run state currently. If you want me to nitpick his record, I think the fight with Disney is a little silly and I didn't like when he sent the illegals to Martha's Vinyard. If it had been Boston that would have been ok.

In other words RFK is horrible from a policy perspective but speaks about issues that noone else will.

Kind of reminds me of someone. Someone orange.

They both hate the deep state but the problem is they both support big government. I think most people would agree that big government is the root cause of an out of control FBI, CIA, etc. When government gets too big there's no amount of checks and balances to keep it from behaving badly. On the other hand a small government is just naturally easier to control.
