RevPAC - Urgent: $350K by Monday to Win!

Bump.

This ad is freaking huge! WE NEED AN AD THAT EMPHASIZES ON THE MILITARY'S SUPPORT FOR RON PAUL AND THIS IS IT. I just posted the link on reddit/ronpaul and 3 paul facebook groups im in. PLEASE SHARE THIS AND SPREAD WITH EVERYONE! I have a feeling this will be the game changer here for SC

That doesn't mean anything. You have no idea what the money was spent on. Almost everything that isn't directly tied to a media buy is considered an administrative expense. Sometimes big donors give money with strings attached about how it can be spent. When that cash is a significant portion of the total, the numbers get skewed.

It seems like you only show up when it's time to troll Rev PAC and grassroots projects. C4L pay you for that?

And there are already umpteen threads about this. Why did you bump this old one? Gee, who does that remind me of?

More news continues/ I don't agree with everything in this article, but for the sake of these guy's reputation they might want to defend themselves. This is in the public arena right now. So I am not posting anything new.

Nice. Now they're accusing Tom Woods. Guilty until proven innocent. The piece of shit who wrote that article gives new meaning to yellow journalism. Can we at LEAST wait until Gary and Tom make a statement? Can we at LEAST give them a chance to prove their innocence?

I see we're still on the path to "eating our own". I'm losing hope in this movement.

I see we're still on the pat to "eating our own". I'm losing hope in this movement.

I'm waiting to find out about in kind donations, those would not show up as 'expenses' yet would show up as 'donations' and GF apparently said a bunch of that was involved. I don't know. But it is bad timing for a RevPac money bomb, until they clear that up.

Yeah, well, we showed our enemies long ago that we were easily distracted by someone, anyone really, writing a nasty article, or making a nasty video, about someone in our movement. We proved that we would turn on our own and rip them to shreds, without really caring about taking any steps to find out the actual facts.

This is just another demonstration of that.

What money bomb?

The strong and just among us will survive this.

I wouldn't lose hope in this movement. The piece looks like it was written by the Romney campaign team just to mess with our heads. However, we shouldn't let this go unchallenged either.

The FEC reports clearly segregate the in-kind donations. I understand mere bloggers missing that, but Bloomberg has no legitimate excuse.

Sorry, you put too much faith in political journalism. In fact, most astute smart political managers, of which there are really only a few, put no faith in mere journalists who have never run pacs, from writting correct articles about Pacs, which most journalists no nothing about.

86% = over $300,000

Interesting how people can play with numbers. From the article:

In contrast, several well-respected political organizations spen less than 5% on administrative costs, such as the Congressional Leadership Fund uperPAC, which raised about $10 million for 2012 and spent less than $500,000 on administrative costs. There are many dissatisfied supporters calling for answers.

When you look at "cost per vote", the Ron Paul campaign spent more than any other campaign as well, even though the overall total spent was considerably less.

They should be metaphorically strung up for writing about shit, and accusing people of shit they know nothing about. Just sayin.

Not to play the devils advocate, but I wasn't thrilled about the way the Revolution Pac was run either. I had limited directed contact with them. I also had contact with the campaign and was not happy about that either. The forum is the best thing around here.
