RevPAC - Urgent: $350K by Monday to Win!

The "Oath" ad is worth diverting some of your money from the campaign. It's that good.

Don't be swayed by the naysayers. This ad is very important. Especially for SC.

A campaign isn't all about ads. It's about GOTV, paying for lodging for volunteers, chartered flights, hotels, paid staff, mailers, polling, etc.

RevPAC doesn't perform a lot of the functions that the campaign does. The campaign is being starved of money and needs it to compete in caucus states following SC and FL.

Where did I say that was the main focus of a campaign?

RevPac does good work. You were one of the most vocal in denouncing their efforts building up to the "Compassion" ad. Turned out to be pretty successful. I think they're the 2nd best place to send money after the campaign itself.

Though, I do agree that a Super PAC should be focused first and foremost on getting large donations, and not depending solely on $10-$50 here and there. Still, it's not wasted money. The ads they produce are highly affective/effective.

Diverting money makes no sense. The campaign needs it because there are other functions other than ads. We have no proof that the compassion ad helped in NH. I agree they are the 2nd best place... After maxing out.

Yeah, but that's free market. Both are good causes, however personally I would advise to donate here after you are maxed out!

What exactly is your hatred for this advertisement about?

It has nothing to do with the ad. parocks just hates on revpac as much as possible. Check out any other thread talking about super pacs and parocks will be there hating on revpac. Nothing new here.

Unless this one is different, the campaign doesn't organize the money bombs - the grassroots do. You know that!

Not since the campaign duplicated the pledge page for the Dec 16th MB, the campaign is sending mixed signals.

People have been bashing the Santa Rita commercials, which are on point.

Santa Rita does not come here begging for money.

People are saying this is some sort of wonderful ad, and it's all about Bill Manning. Seriously. It's a Bill Manning bio ad, where he mentions Ron Paul a couple times.

Maybe whoever made this ad could've said "hey, Bill, maybe you mention that Ron Paul was an Air Force Veteran too. You know that's the most important fact."

Maybe instead of the pictures of Bill Manning in uniform, maybe pictures of Ron Paul in uniform?

You know, the fact that Ron Paul is a veteran is a selling point, and it's an epic fail to make a military ad that doesn't mention that one key selling point.

And they're coming here to beg for money to air this?

Ah yes. People are not allowed their own opinions. Look man, if you like they Santa Rita stuff then please go donate to them. All you do is attack revpac for asking for money? Please man, they have good intentions; it's not like they're rpp making profit off of the cause.

Dude. Find something else to bitch about. This ad is freakin awesome.
It totally drives home a HUGE distinction between Ron Paul and everyone else when it comes to the Military.
Go troll a CNN blog or something.

RevPAC should get in contact with Endorse Liberty PAC ASAP if possible. Endorse Liberty is dropping huge amounts of money on internet advertising, and just spent $100,000 on "DVD Production and Shipment"

We know where the money is. Sadly, it's not being used on TV ads at all.

I sent them a message with this idea. I encourage everybody to.

Exactly. This ad doesn't feel like a typical political ad, and I think that's its greatest benefit. You get introduced to an individual you learn about the individual and many vets will be able to empathize with him. Then after this connection is established he presents why he supports Ron. Its great.

If you like the Santa Rita "RON PAUL RAH RAH RAH" stuff then go donate to them. When most people see an obvious political ad that isn't supporting the candidate that they already support they tune it out. That's why I don't like the Santa Rita ad's. Many people do - and that's fine, were all entitled to our own opinions.

This is not your a-typical political ad. That's its greatest benefit. Just think how many ad's the residents are hearing and seeing right now - you need something like this that is different to break through the noise.

Well you hated a lot on the RevPac itunesbomb lol

Well, actually, I had mixed opinions of that one. I comment on grassroots projects.

I thought it was stupid to hype a song that didn't have Ron Paul in the title. After Ron Paul was in the title, I was in favor of it.

I made what I thought were helpful suggestions to try to get the song on the charts. I thought that people should buy the Golden State song all at the same time,
to get it on the charts, instead of spreading it out over a week and a half.

That particular project I thought fell under the category of something that could work if a lot of things were changed about it. Not enough of the things were changed, so it didn't work. But, at the end, it wasn't a pointless waste of time, just something that missed the mark.

My guess would be that Endorse Liberty ran into the same problems RevPAC did. RevPAC came out and said all the large donors only wanted to advertise online.
