Republican Party in total Chaos/Free-fall

Congressman Paul Speaks Prophetically

I remember during a FOX News Republican Presidential debate last year where Dr. Paul argued with Mike Huckabee about our mistake in Iraq. Congressman Paul made the point that the GOP had lost elections recently and would lose the next one if they didn't change their foreign policy. It seems apparent to me that Dr. Paul's warning will be fulfilled this week when Obama wins against McCain. The GOP has become greedy, obstinate, and pathetic, and they deserve to be defeated in this election.

LOL...I was just invited to dinner for Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons. It is on the 6th so I will get to listen to the GOP hacks complaining about all kinds of reasons they lost...I hope they bring up Ron Paul and the state convention, because at that point I may get tossed out!! or who knows maybe I can convert some more folks!!

There will be nothing left of the republic to work WITH...why can't you see this/ The government will be re constructed and we won't have a cCONSTUTION anymore. the komrades dispise the constitution. tones

:p:p Funniest thing I've seen all day. You're always reliable for a good laugh, T4JB.

blowback.

I'm still trying to maintain at least a semblance of good relations with the local GOP since they were tolerant, if not supportive, of our efforts. Once the dust clears after November I'm going to be telling them "told you so" as politely as I can. My district's GOP candidate for congress, who is by no means a RP Republican, was strong against the bailout. For that he deserves at least a few props and a little bit of my money. Well, that, and he's running against Chris Van Hollen. I'd get behind Hitler or Stalin if they were running against that POS. :)

Steve Hudson is endorsed by Ron Paul. He was very excited to get the endorsement. I met him when RP came to College Park last month to endorse five candidates for Congress here.

I'm glad your local GOP was helpful. We (the five liberty candidates) have gotten very little help. MD GOP has focused completely on Andy Harris, who is going to turn District 1 blue.

Ironically, I think Obama will probably keep us in Iraq for a long time as well. He has said recently he would defer the the generals on the ground.

I could see a backlash with the anti war left revolting against the democrats in 2010.

My vote sent for Barr my only real choice in AZ. Took the heat but we have to start somewhere to change the system. I don't feel it is a wasted vote. I feel it would have been wasted if, I had voted for O or M.

If people see a much higher independent vote, we might start to see progress in the future.

qft, third parties need those votes for the next time around

Yep, with both R's and D's becoming more and more similar - who could've pictured Colin Powell and Scott McClellan both endorsing Obailout? - it's either Republicans find your roots, or time for a third party to rise to prominence on a classically liberal, non-interventionist platform. I too predict Obama will disappoint anti-war liberals, so the non-interventionist platform is a key differentiator.

Proudly touching the screen for Barr/Root tomorrow, along with my R-congressman (voted against bailout), L-senator (byebyeChambliss), L (where possible) and R (where I know them) downticket.

Also, I predict tomorrow's election to be an Obama LANDSLIDE. Polls and the media are trying to keep it as close as they can so people will still pay attention, but it's gonna be UGLY.

We are doing more than showing them how to lose, I believe and hope. We will also be showing them how to win. I have much reason to believe that we will get two very liberty-minded candidates elected to state and county office in my very district.

Neither has run on a neocon platform, you see. So, when the neocons ask how it happened and what was done right, I will take particular pleasure in telling them. You neocons hate them and you hate them because they won't "play ball" with your thievous asses. Just as long as you keep picking candidates you hate, the G.O.P. will be fine!

Dustan, I loved your responses. Since when does the GOP need our group of lunatics; the ones with the tin foil hats as they portrayed us?

I received a letter from McCain's NC election committee telling me where to vote, etc. I responded with a "no thank you". I voted for the only conservative on the NC ballot, that being Barr.

Dianne, I hope you didn't put a stamp on that prepaid postage envelope they sent 'ya cause it just helps you know.

...Polls and the media are trying to keep it as close as they can so people will still pay attention...

Yea georiaboy, attention to the side show and drawn away from 3rd party choices.

RIP GOP - long live the Ron Paul r3VOLolution

Go somewhere else and schill for your fascist Pres/VP ticket. Bush has done more damage to the constitution than any President in the history of the USA. McCain will be no different and if you think that Palin will have any influence on him or his policies then you are an idiot. Obama and McCain are the same damn thing. The fact that I still have to explain this to you on this board is proof that you didn't understand a damn thing about what this movement is all about. Go away and have fun at your Hitle.. I mean McCain rally. You are supporting fascism. How is that any different than the idiotic Obama supporters who vote for his communism? Why can't you see this? They are 2 sides of the same coin. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! You are part of the problem!!
