Poll: Trump Jumps 17 Points Among Likely GOP Voters, Well Ahead Of Carson

A new poll finds Donald Trump surging well above his chief 2016 rival Ben Carson after week that included a Saturday Night Live appearance and a GOP debate.

Forty-two percent of likely GOP voters supported Trump in a five-day rolling poll released Friday by Reuters/Ipsos, up from 25 percent last week. Carson was also polling around 25 percent last week and his support among GOP voters has since dipped slightly.

Meanwhile, Sen. Marco Rubio's support among primary voters has remained level at 10 percent, despite a debate performance that was cheered by establishment Republicans.

Trump is also clearly leading the field among Republicans in general, claiming 34 percent of all Republicans in the sample to Carson's 20 percent.

The results of the five-day rolling Reuters/Ipsos poll was based on a sample of 534 Republican voters; 257 voters made up like likely primary voter sample pool.

God people are stupid. Compound this with what went on in Paris, and the inevidable media being in full swing to push the 'Merica Neo-con agenda all next week and into the primaries, I do hope liberty comes out in the end.

It's not really surprising, none of the alternatives deemed viable by the media and establishment can't compete with Trump. Trump not only has the business acumen of a billionaire businessman but a reality TV star too in a culture defined by it.

Since the article doesn't give the full numbers :

Businessman Donald Trump 34.0%
Surgeon and author Ben Carson 19.6%
Fla. Sen. Marco Rubio 9.7%
Tex. Sen. Ted Cruz 7.7%
Former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush 6.4%
Wouldn’t vote 5.8%
Former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee 4.1%
Former Sen. candidate and business executive Carly Fiorina 3.7%

I'm convinced the only thing that works in this country is the Oathkeepers. You can mock Cliven Bundy all you want but he is a free man and the Oathkeepers are not involved with electoral politics.

I have an enormous amount of respect for Oathkeepers. They are doing great work.

There is another poll on Drudge right now that has Trump at 42%. If this is accurate, the GOP as a viable party is just about over.

The GOP as a vehicle for the establishment is going to be over. It will become our party instead. Remember, most Liberty candidates have immigration views closer to Dave Brat than Rand Paul. Liberty Candidates across the country are going to ride to victory on Trump's coat tails, and none will be more satisfying than Kelli Ward's victory over McCain.

The anger towards Trump on RPF is hilarious. Unfortunately, Rand never got extreme and passionate in the beginning. Winning elections is not about being an intellectual! Present conservative issues that resonate with the people who you are trying to court: Guns, God, and Culture, and an Economic Agenda that focuses on America being #1. Speak loud and proud and mock those that think those core ideas will ruin you. Trump has accomplished this agenda with a score of about 3/10, but the rest of the field is so busy being 'political' that his terrible performance has raised him to the top.

Yes, the Oathkeepers are a Constitutional police force. Your rights are violated (IRS, BLM, ATT, etc) then you give them a call and they come over and protect you. Of course use peace through strength. Don't call them until and unless your house is being auctioned off or after you have been railroaded in court. Or use them as a negotiation tool against the government("I don't want to call them but I will if I have too...). That's really what you want in life. You want to live your life peacefully without someone bothering you. With electoral politics you are giving these government thugs respect they do not deserve.
