Mitt Romney Remember Bob Barr?

Bob Barr can't keep his word. I learned that at my picnic in 2008. Fucker showed up late and then woulsn't leave so we could have RP show up.

They couldn't both be at the picnic?

Edit: Also, why does your post, say that it was edited by sailingaway. Did you put something offensive in there or are you both the same person?

No they couldn't as RP did not want to see as he was endorsimg Barr.

As to the editing I just want to say [Mod retracted]

My vote for Barr was more about getting the LP to a higher threshold of votes more than FOR Barr. It was a protest vote. And yes - red state Indiana went for Obama - so I think my vote mattered with the message that was sent ;)

People have to get over this stealing votes thing. I vote for the Libertarian candidate most of the time (unless someone like Barr is nominated), and I have never voted Republican outside of Paul. My Libertarian votes does not "TAKE VOTES AWAY" from republicans.
If anything, I was a Democrat before I found out about libertarianism.

I would like to point something out. You all hate Barr for endorsing Romney. Yet, many of you expect (and may not even have a problem with) Rand endorsing Romney should he win at the convention.

Why do you think so?

I already don't like Rand. Him endorsing Romney isn't going to change that.

I think most people critical of Barr for doing that are also critical of Rand for the same thing.

I have voted for the Libertarian presidential candidate in every general election since 1976. Some were weaker candidates than others, some were purer libertarians in the mold that I prefer than others, but my vote for Barr in 2008 is the only vote I regret. (I did not write-in RP because in my state, like most others, the votes for write-in candidates are not tabulated unless the candidate specially authorizes it; and RP did not do so, possibly due to so-called "sore-loser" laws).
