Back to the topic at hand, we really need some serious prosecutions of these GOP apparatchiks for racketeering and fraud, something with hard time 10+ years.

And if that doesn't happen, perhaps there's a local Citizens' Vigilance Committee who will take care of the otherwise abandoned pursuit of justice.
 
Same story, different state. We have seen GOP shenanigans over and over again in state after state. This is why I think the system should be easy to understand and decided upon up front. The most important primary/caucus state is New Hampshire. We don't have problems like this in NH as the delegates are selected months before the election by the campaigns and then assigned based on the vote.

NH's system is much harder for the liberty folks to gain, but then again, liberty folks aren't as good at gaming the system as anti-liberty folks anyway. Why spend so much time and energy fighting to game the system? The national GOP isn't pro-liberty and that isn't going to change anytime soon. I'd rather spend a great deal of effort spreading the message of liberty and getting pro-liberty people elected locally. It's working where I live.

The GOP in MA might as well be a 3rd party anyway. It is a complete joke and of very little importance. When people talk about the GOP strategy for pro-liberty people, I don't think they have the MA GOP in mind. If a pro-liberty person lives in MA and wants to change it, I am not sure if party politics is of much use at all.

36% of registered voters in MA are Democrats
11% of registered voters in MA are Republicans

The highest populated county, Middlesex County, is 37% registered Democrat and 10% registered Republican
Suffolk County has 400,000 registered voters and is 54% registered Democrat and 7% registered Republican

Seriously. You're looking at ballot access issues sometimes, races where the third parties either tie or defeat the Republicans, and extremely lackluster candidates who do almost no campaigning or are placeholders.

On top of that, those officials in the GOP from the Central and Western parts that I know don't even really get support from the State apparatus at all. I'm not even talking about these grassroots either and liberty-minded folk (we have our own big HQ down here). But what I mean is it's so bad that they have their own variation of a grassroots or need to rely on local machines. There's little to no money, help, and I don't know how many communities go without Republican Town Committees.
It makes me wonder how you have a fair State Convention when it's the responsibility of the RTCs to appoint delegates representing their towns and there are no RTCs to really appoint anyone.

What if we all just said 'Fine, I'll leave'

And we start working withing the democrats party.

We may have more success and it would be a savage kick in the balls to the repubs. Not only that but they may even treat us better because of what they have seen.

Also we could try and restore the democrats to what they were a Very Very long time ago.

In Massachusetts, there are people who try the Liberty Democrat approach, but it hasn't been overly successful electorally (though it gets good press).
I haven't seen anyone try it anywhere outside of the Greater Boston area, and it might be a little more successful in Central and Western portions, but I've asked individuals before about trying that approach and the answer usually is that the MA Republican Party is looking for new leaders and members, which I'm sure took a serious blow because of these recent shenanigans, and that the GOP platform is more compatible with certain areas.

The only people that are complaining are those that are trying to use this as an excuse to bolster their arsenal of reasons why we shouldn't try to restore the GOP per Ron's last 5 year strategy. Rand is doing nothing other than cloaking himself to further our true intentions, of course, that'll never sink in with some people. GRC on this forum is for pursuing Ron's call to reclaim the GOP for liberty, so if all some are doing here is distracting from that effort then not so cool on them. That said, depending on the outcome of the RNC, I may very well vote for Gary.
