uh... that kind of blind loyalty got us where we are today...
i am a 99% RP supporter because no human is worth all my trust
i believe that RP is the best candidate out there and probably the only hope for our country BUT if a better candidate came along i would support him/her more
if RP does or says something that goes against my constitution or personal relationship with my country i would no longer support him...
also, if RP came to a debate and acted like Gravel or Ross Perot's VP, i would not support him
this has always been about the message not the man
even RP says he is the person lucky enough to lead the charge today
and the fact that i am more loyal to my country than to any single man makes me a greater patriot than you could ever be

Very frustrating to watch last night!! Just when you think he'll get more of a fair shake now that it's down to 4 candidates, and with the type of format they had, etc., it just goes to show you that NONE of it makes one iota of a difference!
Love Ron Paul, but he MUST become more assertive! Plus, Ron Paul's 20 year voting record is his biggest asset! It puts all those other clowns to shame! While both McCain and Mitt puff out their chests and manage to interject their past records in the middle of a response, Dr. Paul needs to do that as well!
Someone should show him a few clips of his past performances so he can see for himself where he needs improvement. This will not go over well with people who are undecided. I fear they may view him as a pushover.

Agreed... it could be down to just Paul and McCain... and Paul will still only get 5 or 6 minutes. That's all they'll ever let him have. He has to steal more minutes from them if he wants them. And they are holding on to them very tightly.
Blah, blah, blah. I didn't say that Ron Paul was God. He has the best platform of all the candidates running. I said I was 100% behind him because I am 0% behind any of the others. Sorry but I do not consider myself a patriot to this bloated state. I am campaigning for Ron Paul because he will minimize the effects of government in my life, not puff it up like some blow-hard talking about patriotism and loyalty to the country.
I think that says it all about your side of this argument.
Hopefully, someday you will want to support America, right or wrong...
