Rate Dr. Paul's performance tonight..

I thought he did ok. 2 of the 4 questions he answered were home runs. The question about the war being worth the cost, he was the only one who actually answered the question. Everyone else did their little song and dance.

and the last question was great.

But after the last debate I said - Dr. Paul needs to clean his message up and make it understandable to the average American voter. I'm sad to say i didnt see that tonight. it was the same stuff. He really needs to make his message clear and understandable. It will NOT be easy to do. But that's his challenge.

Unfortunately, I am not sure Dr. Paul sees this challenge. I think his message is appealing to a lot of people who do not understand his message. if he could somehow make them understand, he really might have a shot.

NBC = FOX

# of questions:

Romney: 10 full, 1 30 sec
McCain: 10 full, 1 30 sec, 1 15 sec
9iu11ani: 9 full, 1 30 sec
Huckabee: 6 full, 1 30 sec
Paul: 3 full, 2 30 sec

Paul did great with the 4 minutes he got.
Yeah, those times were ridiculous!
Isn't there some legal issues with that?

He did great but no time. I think he should have mentioned getting 2nd in Navada on the last question.

I thought it was his worst performance. His answer on Social Secuirty was terrible. He completely lost any chance at Florida with that answer.

Yup. He could have have knocked out the state with that one by being clear.

Should have said:

I promise to repay the greatest generations of our time the debt that society owes them. At the same time we need to recognize that Social Security is a flawed system and the next generaitions should not be subjected to the uncertainty that is faced by seniors today.

I have sponsered a bill to make SS income completely tax exempt. It makes no sense for our seniors to pay taxes on publically madated retirement accounts when there are private alternatives available that are not taxed. I am the only one up here tonight that has a consistent record to uphold the quality of life for our seniors.

That would have killed!

Ron Paul NEEDED to attack someone today, or have a back and forth smack talk, anything to draw attention to himself,...instead of coming across as this grandpa-snob-old-timer, forgettable performance.

Ron Paul should've said "I'm the only Republican here, and I'm running against some Neo-Cons and Democrats, I'm the last Republican standing, so it should be an easy choice for the people if they want to vote Republican".

He has really improved his speaking voice and speed. That alone made him seem so much more normal and reasonable to the outside viewer.

But he really needed to call someone out.

Just rate Ron's performance on the msnbc debate poll...Too many threads on the exact same thing!!!

Rate Ron here for first!!!

Ron Paul should have said "Huckabee keeps stealing my ideas, MSNBC keeps stealing my airtime, McCain is stealing our Sovereignty, Giuliani is stealing everything, Romney is stealing votes from retarded people, and I almost stole the Lousiana Caucus and I ain't gettin' no respect cuz' this MSM bullshit is shadier than Bernanke's long-ass sleeves.

:D :D Welcome to the forum.
