Rasmussen: New Iowa polling

So good it needs to be reposted!

Texas Representative Ron Paul is the top 2012 presidential contender for voters who say they are positive they will not change their mind about the candidates before the election, but half of those polled say they would not vote for a different Republican candidate if Paul is not the nominee, says pollster Scott Rasmussen.

How many people are going to show up and vote at the Ames Straw Poll for Bachmann, Romney, and Perry, compared to Ron Paul supporter?. I suspect Ron Paul will get nearly 75-100% of of that 16% showing up at Ames to vote. How about the others? If 30% of Bachmann, Romney, and Perry supporters polled don't show up at Ames, Ron Paul could win.

I'm confident more Ron Paul supporters in Iowa are willing to drive over 2 hours to attend Ames then Bachmann, Romney, and Perry. I know it's a high number, but Ron Paul will need about 60% (7,104) of the 11,841 that voted for him in the 2008 Iowa Caucuses to win the Ames Straw Poll.

Add the economic crisis in America, and we should see a significant increase in Ron Paul's support!

Bachmann--22
Romney--21
Paul--16
Perry--12

Well that ad that is running must be a winner.

Whoever made that ad did a great job.

I didn't know 16% of the voting public lived in their parents' basements! :D

Encouraging. The campaign needs to make a strong final push.

Even if Bachmann wins, I don't see her sticking around long. I still see it coming down to the two Texans at the end of it all...let's fight hard.

Perry who wears his religion on his sleeve like Bush did when he was campaigning will have to hold some more God rallies to try to catch Paul.

The fact that they compromised as the ad predicted is what makes it so great. Going to be fun to see how the looming clusterfuck in the markets (Tokyo opening soon) will steer people to Paul.

The real prayer warriors are already onboard with Ron Paul because we know the truth and it doesn't require an event to mobilize us!

If we keep lifting up the standard properly more of the sheep will come go with us~
