Rasmussen: New Iowa polling

Bachmann--22
Romney--21
Paul--16
Perry--12

And Paul is in FIRST among decided voters!

THIRD PLACE 16%

He is touching on Ron Paul support

2 things to note:

most RP supporters absolutely certain to vote for him

and

49% say they may not vote for republican if RP is not nominated.

Annnnddd......he tries to downplay the results

EDIT: He didn't try to downplay them at all! This is awesome!

New Rasmussen poll. Paul surging!

Bach 22%
Romney 21%
Paul 16%
Perry 12%
Palenty 11%

First place is Paul supporters among people who will ABSOLUTELY not change there mind, and only 1/2 Paul supporters would consider voting for any other candidate.

Very different than the other candidate.

How can he downplay the results when multiple polls (including his own) show RP as almost electable against Obama as Romney and more electable than Bachmann?

Sorry, I'm having posting problems today...

Wow! The 15% barrier has been surpassed. I believe that barrier was the tipping point.

If Ron Paul wins or finishes a close 2nd in Ames next Saturday, I think he hits 20% in Iowa and 15% nationally. At that point, there's no way they can stop him or his ideas (not even, god forbid, with a bullet).

A win in Ames could easily put him in first place. Keep up the efforts, the phone banking, donations, tv ads, don't let up!!!

IDK why, but I had a really good feeling about these poll numbers even before he released them.

This poll definitely calls for a celebration. This time four years ago we were polling between 2-4% in Iowa and we pulled off 9% in the staw poll. Victory this time is ABSOLUTELY a possibility.

The best part of this is how establishment Republican Rasmussen Reports is. This sends a clear message to the establishment, and I'm confident that they are now running scared. We need to get our fundraising up, a win at the Iowa Caucus will send shockwaves throughout the establishment, and the RNC.

The R3VOLUTION is alive, and Ron Paul's time is now.
