Really? Maybe in the freeze frame where the arrow square cuts off his chin, but his face is much longer and when he speaks his mouth is completely different. I mean, you can tell he's Rand's father, but I don't see him young and think of Rand. Well, I seem to be outnumbered, huh.

I see Carol a LOT in Rand, if you look at the shape of his face and his smile and cheeks. You can see it more in his picture on Ron's bike though:
