Random Ron Paul conversation in the drivethru

I've been talking to a co-worker about Ron Paul for a while, but the talk died down a few weeks ago. Friday, she pulled me aside and said that her teenage son was asking her about economics. She said that her son watched the debate and thought Romney and Perry were idiots. She asked him who he liked, and he said "The older guy, Ron Paul. He made sense". He told her he wanted to go to college and learn more about economics after seeing that.

I'm wondering if the tipping point already arrived, with what everyone is sharing here.

That is what I keep telling people. I believe it is reached. I truly do. Watch the next month and see what happens..oh..and DO NOT stop doing what u are (all) doing! :D

There are still colleges you can get a good economics education. Plus, you need a little exposure the the "other stuff" just so you know why its wrong.

I was playing on Pogo the other day and my character's name is Ronpaul4ever ( got it in 2007 figuring I may need it again someday). Anyway, I am in a room with like 20 people playing this game and someone says "9-9-9 Ron".. haha..well this started it. In between playing and only being able to give short answers, all these things got said by this person and no one else spoke.
I do not like his foreign policy, he is unelectable, how could we afford info-structure with no income tax, lots of pro Cain stuff I was refuting and among my answers I informed e1 of his economic plan, that you can google some of his foreign policy speeches, that he won the CA straw poll and lots more, and a host of other things. The person ended up saying, well, I like Santorum and Newt is really smart..lol..I almost refuted Cain to her completely. My answer to her that he was unelectable the first time was," I am if you don't vote for me" (she was calling me Ron) and that is when I talked about the CA straw poll and the fact he is never on the news which should tell her something. She was very dissatisfied with the big mess we are in, and so when she mentioned Cain and Santorum I said "Nah, you are too dissatisfied to vote for THEM".
Anyway, it was hard, but fun, and no one else said a word so they were all reading it. Pogo is pretty democratic oriented, but this
was really pretty thrilling. :) I did not convert her or anyone, I guess, but gave them thought for food.. (You can use that name if you want, BTW, or one like it on any gaming site you choose..:)

his message is resonating. i'm taking advantage of every opportunity i got to bring his name out there. when we went to Duluth, i wore my Ron Paul for President - Defender of the Constitution shirt.... also make sure to leave some "No Taxes on Tips" on every place that I give tips to.

Last weekend, we stopped by Leo's Grill & Malt Shop in Stillwater, MN and ordered a scoop of ice cream. Paid our bill, placed our tip and handed them the "No Taxes on Tips" business card. All of us got 2 scoops of ice cream for the price of 1 and it's all because of that black business card. :)

I think I repped everyones story on this thread. This is truly inspirational, it needs to have a long life.

My Mom and sister went with me to the straw poll. I had pretty well convinced my mom that Paul was the man (she had been leaning towards Cain) and my sister was undecided. By the end of the presentations, they were both solidly in Paul's camp, and my sister has 4 married kids who were hearing about Ron Paul on the way home from the poll and probably still are.... :)

I'd be so insulted that the Ohio straw poll is being ignored by media just because Ron Paul won it. We were pretty ticked here in Tx when they decided to cancel the one here!

I have converted a few folks when I talk to them, and personally know alot of others who support him. I hope the Tipping point is here, I feel it is. What is MSM going to do when Paul wins the Iowa primary? Pretend it didn't happen? Don't they know that people are watching and questioning, and getting ticked off at the obvious and blatant censorship and manipulation of news coverage for him? That this very action on their part is literally driving more people to find out about him in other ways?

Apple store guys love my Ron Paul button! :)

We're all walking advertisements.

You know what? if you really think about it, this is a truly free market at work. We strongly believe in a 'message' that the 'government/establishment' is trying to control and suppress but we keep it up and start spreading the world as much as we can and it works.
