Rand will make the debate

I think they will possibly bend the rules again. Rand is going to make a huge public stink if they don't when he refuses the kiddy table. Actually is there a kiddy table this time?

For what it's worth... Just got a message from the students for rand chapter leader about tickets for the debate :) Seems like the Rand Camp feels they will be there to send that now.

There was an expert on C-span this morning. Someone called in to complain that Rand isn't getting any air time on the major networks. The guy responded by saying Rand has a fantastic ground game going on in New Hampshire, and will probably score well higher than the polling indicates. That too me, goes with a couple of New Hampshire callers, that called into C-Span saying when they get polled Rand isn't even on the list of choices.

If they don't have an undercard debate they open themselves up to equal time issues. They could do it if none of the excluded campaigns complain though.
Santorum agreed with Rand on skipping the undercard.

So with Graham out, that means the undercard would just be Pataki and Carly. Unless they threw in Gilmore

I thought you were from New York?? Your former governor Pataki has already dropped out. But perhaps you conflated him with Huckabee.

@PCKY any link to Santorum's decision on whether or not he will participate in an undercard?

Kasich is going to make the debate based on is NH numbers. The funny thing is Rand's numbers are at least consistent. There are only going to be 4 people I predict going to SC anyways. Trump, Cruz, one of Rubio/Christie/Jeb!/Kasich, and Paul. 5 at the most.

Hand on my heart I would prefer Rand went up against Sanders live on another channel head to head with the debate than participated in the GOP debate.

Its a big play to take control of the narrative rather than let it be set for him.

Reactions: Rad
To be fair, he really shouldn't have been in the last debate, but he still made it (because he called them out about letting carly into the debate before that one)

I think secretly the media likes rand. For ratings, I think. Of course they don't actually want him to win.

I don't understand this...I keep seeing people on here say that. I think it's the exact opposite...If Rand gives them ratings, they would be speaking on him more. I think CNN only let him in because of that issue with their journalist conspiring against him. Rand's camp probably spoke to them about it and most likely agreed to drop the issue if they let him in. That's just my guess though.

Rand is the moral compass in the debates. he is needed.

This is the moral compass for Ted Cruz:

I think he will, but he was asked if he agreed with Rand's position about not doing an undercard because it would be devasting and so on and Santorum said "Absolutely!" He might have been agreeing more with the the Press/RNC telling America who to vote for. I think he'll do it.

This confirms that the polls ARE being rigged, after all! I wonder if video of this exists, or any other concrete evidence of confirmation. These polls have seemed to be off. Where the info is available, small samples and undersampling of certain demographics are in evidence. Yet people are still denying that the polls are skewed. How obvious does it have to become that the polls are being rigged?

Santorum and Huckabee should really just drop out. They haven't moved in the polls at all and clearly have no chance at all of winning anything.

Clearly voters do not want 2012 losers
