Rand will make history tomorrow by going live all day.. This is sick

My feelings exactly. There is about 150 college kids in there right now and yes they are extremely organized. They are registering voters and getting transportation ready for caucus night. They have dorm leaders and chapter leaders. They are using the Rand app as well. This is a big deal folks. I expect them to either get the 10k goal or get very close. And that is gigantic when you think of how big 10k is in the Iowa caucus.

Definitely, depending on how many are still in the race and the turnout its some 20-50% of the votes to win.

No clue what he said.

For the Democrat debate, wish Rand could live stream the whole thing and respond as it's going on, but it sounds like Rand will have events to attend to and won't be able to do it until the end of the debate based on what Vincent Harris is saying

Pretty cool tweets from Vince Harris. It could be fluff tweets trying to drive more attention or he could just be genuinely excited about this stuff.

LOL on the livestream just now, answering questions
Rand: "Question: Is Rand Paul still running for president?"
Rand: "I wouldn't be doing this dumbass livestreaming if I wasn't"

He's a consultant at the end of the day, but I think he's pretty cool. He left Ted Cruz.

I think Rand Live has been a major success. It definitely should be repeated at least once a month in November, December and January.

I don't think it will be happening again haha. Rand does not seem enthused about the idea of being streamed all day. He mentioned earlier that his campaign has wanted to do it and he finally succumbed to all of the nagging (he said it jokingly of course, but I don't think he is kidding that he doesn't want to be streamed all day).

I hope he does do it more often, but don't expect it to be the case.

Here is the video of him reading mean tweets, I thought it was funny :P:

They will have to come up with something new to do, because next month all the other candidates will be trying to live stream.

That video summarizes why I think this is awesome. Totally different side of Rand today. I never knew he was so funny. This was really neat and we still have the debate to cover lol. Rand is pretty cool in informal tv.

People are retweeting the shit out of "watch Rand read mean tweets":

That was pretty cool. Just tuned in and watched the "mean tweets and top google questions." That was great. It was phenomenal. America loves it a reality show. If they took the best highlights of this day, put a great montage together and then heavily promoted another one...gold in the pocket, right there.

Tweets were not mean enough, they're too soft. Its not real enough for people that they pick the not so mean tweets and have Rand read them.

Agree -- he should pick some of the REALLY nasty ones too. It won't really cause any kind of backlash in that informal setting. Youtubers will sometimes do entire videos just responding to the most outrageous and mean comments on their videos -- for some reason people like to watch that and because it is entertaining, the criticism loses its sting.

For those who don't know, "mean tweets" is a popular thing done by Jimmy Kimmel

Wow very very impressed.

On the live stream right now, Rand is about to speak to a room full of college students.

If you pledge your support, you get a photo with Rand and they'll collect all your information.

They also get all the students to pull their phones out to download the Rand 2016 app.

If every campaign stop is like this (and we've seen this before evidenced in an article that came out a couple months ago about the level of organization that the Paul campaign had at Iowa campaign stops better than any 2012 candidate), then Iowa could be a blowout.

Yeah, I watched for awhile this morning at the beginning when he was in the car and hanging out backstage with Pat Miletich, and then a little bit this afternoon.

Rand seems like a relaxed, easygoing fun person that you'd want to hang out with. Obviously I'm biased, but that's important to undecided voters.

I'm sure some of the other candidates are nice people, but I don't know of any others that are "the candidate you'd want to have a beer with"... or in this case go on a road trip with.
