Rand will make history tomorrow by going live all day.. This is sick

Rand's crowd at Loras College was about 200. Pretty nice. Students for Rand getting it done. Loras College has about 1,500 undergrad enrollment.... That's insane if we got 200 to come out. That is over 10 percent of the entire college???

Saw a short bit of Rand sitting on a bleacher and walking around at the Field of Dreams, Iowa. Lots of wind noise, but he was saying something. Now it's offline.

I hate to say it, but this seemed to be a flop. I think everyone expected to see every moment of the campaign for a day, but instead it was no different then watching a campaign speech video broadcast live.

Could be some non-students present also.

I think they mostly intended for that as well, but cell reception is proving to be a hurdle

Yeah I think so as well, earlier when they were in the car he did a cellphone interview with a South-Carolina TV or radio station. Then they listened to some music while driving further, discussing some politics. Then when he arrived at the campaign stop, he first did an interview with a reporter and then you saw the event from backstage until he went inside...

I'd say it was a pretty good slice of daily campaigning. Sucks the stream seems to be off again now.

Vincent Harris has indicated that cell service seems to be a big problem in getting a good stream to stay up. I think as an approach to how politicians can put themselves out there it's pretty good.
They're also posting a videos on the Facebook feed.
I don't see this as a flop at all. It goes to show that no matter how good your equipment is you're only as good as your service provider.

Is Rand still in the car? Looks like it is just Grubbs and Maloney.

Maybe they left him at the last stop on accident :p

As they roll up to the next stop: "Uh guys... where's the Senator?"

But really, I'm wondering the same thing, maybe in a different car? Idk. Or maybe he is just sleeping so they are keeping cam on the other 2, but I really have no clue

That makes sense - May, Copenhaver and Stafford aren't in this car either, so they're probably with Rand in another vehicle. Maybe something private going on.

Wow very very impressed.

On the live stream right now, Rand is about to speak to a room full of college students.

If you pledge your support, you get a photo with Rand and they'll collect all your information.

They also get all the students to pull their phones out to download the Rand 2016 app.

If every campaign stop is like this (and we've seen this before evidenced in an article that came out a couple months ago about the level of organization that the Paul campaign had at Iowa campaign stops better than any 2012 candidate), then Iowa could be a blowout.

My feelings exactly. There is about 150 college kids in there right now and yes they are extremely organized. They are registering voters and getting transportation ready for caucus night. They have dorm leaders and chapter leaders. They are using the Rand app as well. This is a big deal folks. I expect them to either get the 10k goal or get very close. And that is gigantic when you think of how big 10k is in the Iowa caucus.

Agree, plus hopefully the ones that reside in Iowa with their families bring their families along to caucus with them. Student family night caucus for Rand.
