Rand Paul: Trump's tariffs will hurt Americans...

We don't have liberty only because there are too many people like you who are scared shitless of the stuff.
Oh, it's much worse than that, the vast majority of humanity is actively opposed and always will be, only in America is it possible to get majorities who want to move towards it from where we are.
You want to send all economic power to the enemies of liberty abroad, throw open the borders to let them occupy America, and frighten Americans away from liberty by telling them that the first two things are "real liberty" even though they clearly result in our impoverishment and enslavement.

The Senate took an initial vote Thursday to advance a budget blueprint for enacting President Trump’s agenda, with all but one Republican unifying around the outline for sweeping tax and spending cuts.

Ultimately, only one Republican, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, could not be swayed to support it.

Thursday’s procedural test vote advanced, 52-48.

You forgot to mention that it raises the debt limit by $5 trillion. At least you somewhat answered

And that's the point, he will use excuses to vote against tax cuts, he'll make the same kind of argument for keeping the income tax because of debt and deficits.

If "he" is Trump, congratulations. You've just made your first accurate prediction.

It is when people can't afford the one thing unless and until they get the relief the other thing gives them, idiot.
People can't afford tax cuts on the people? when those tax cuts also have spending cuts attached?

The debt is already astronomical, and it's not going to stop going up any time soon (which isn't Trump's fault), but the American people can get some relief and we can start cutting the spending.
