Rand Paul to speak at historically black Simmons College in Louisville

My favorite part was the very end where they interviewed a student and she said Rand Paul in person was totally different than she had seen him portrayed in the media, and that he really seemed to care about her community. That made me smile -- that's what we need to do!
Yep, Rand is bypassing Maddow and co and taking it right to the greater minority community first hand. That's a true leader and shows a lot of class as well.

It's brilliant taking his message straight to the people and watching the liberal media freak out over it. It will also pay dividends later when the liberal media attempts to paint Rand as a blood-drinking, evil incarnate, Republican. People that heard him and seen him face to face will hesitate and say, "Wait a second, that's not the man I met."

I don't like the Pell Grants talk, as it's an unconstitutional program. But I guess Rand just feels like he wouldn't be electable if he ran as a hardcore Constitutionalist or libertarian.
