Rand Paul on The Alex Jones Show today

Yes, Alex Jones was integral in getting Rand elected, I really hate to break it to you. He wasn't viable until he had enough cash. Where did most of that cash come from?

I seem to recall AJ not mentioning Rand even once on the day of Rand's first big moneybomb.

So your saying cash raised came from Alex Jones supporters and not Ron supporters?

LOL, dude, for the most part they are one in the same (AJ supporters ARE inherently RP supporters, they basically have the exact same views just focus on slightly different angles at times, but that is irrelevant..)

Let's put it this way, if not for RPF helping us keep up to date with what Rand Paul was doing, the money bombs and such, I and many others who come here probably wouldn't have raised the same kind of money for Rand. Coming here regularly gets a lot of people to donate more than once. So a lot of the cash effectively came from RPF because they were able to galvanize support. That doesn't mean the cash didn't come from Ron Paul supporters, considering almost everyone here is a RP supporter.

The truth is, and I think Josh might be able to verify this, Alex Jones has more viewers every day than this forum. So if a lot of the cash came from this forum, and I know this forum has been thanked for helping raise cash for candidates, then it is the same deal with AJ's radio program.

I seem to recall AJ mentioning numerous money bombs for Rand, and I don't recall if he ever ended up mentioning that one later in the show or not.

That is pretty irrelevant, money bombs aren't everything. Keeping a large group of people interested in liberty on a daily basis and plugging Rand on occasion as a solution to the problem is a positive thing for him.

This. Rand doesn't need to be associated with 9-11 conspiracy nuts.

Rand does interviews with hardcore neocons, are you for that?
Should i assume he is a neocon then because he associates with neocons?
Is this the logic your following?
Jones can believe what ever he wants, his audience is huge and he does good work promoting liberty.

He didn't. And that was a big one.

Yeah, I got no problem with it. I want Rand to go on every show that will have him, just like his pops.

Going on a show doesn't mean you agree 100% or even 10% with the interviewer. It is just about getting the message out. Rand is a big boy and has proven he knows how to wind his way through a minefield of loaded questions.

Not taking a side here nor trying to pick a fight, I'm just wondering what % of Jones' audience is domestic v. foreign..

I'll say.. His dad is pretty good at it, but more straight forward. Rand is better at mainstreaming the loaded questions, and he is really damn good at it.

I don't care if Rand goes on shows where he disagrees with the political views on host. I would be fine with Rand going on Chris Matthews' show or Rachel Maddow's show. I just don't think that Rand should go on shows where the host is basically insane and talks about bankers killing 80% of the world's population. Why should anybody listen to a nut like that?

IIRC, AJ has a bigger audience than either of those other people you mentioned.

That's scary. I've listened to Jones' show a time or two and I'll admit that he's entertaining, but I just don't think that a United States Senator should be going on his show. This could really hurt Rand if he ever decides to run for President.

The Judge has never explicitly said that 9-11 was an inside job. He's certainly not on Jones' level when it comes to crazy conspiracy theories.

The Judge said that 9/11 didn't happen the way our government told us and that building 7 probably came down via controlled demolition... on AJ's show..

You can rationalize in your head all you want, but the media calls anybody who even questions the official story a truther.

I find it less scary than those liberals you mentioned that advocate theft. At least AJ is all about govt transparency and small govt.

Ron has been on coast to coast am a number of times as well, which has a HUGE audience. should they both avoid that show? many people would say that show is even crazier.

I guess Rand must know what he's doing, but I just think that his association with AJ is the single biggest thing that will hurt him if he ever decides to run for President. You have to be very careful who you associate with if you have higher ambitions.
