Good. I don't typically listen to AJ (in fact, I've never heard a full show). However, AJ was and has been in Rand's corner consistently, and you don't ignore your friends because they aren't as popular as you are in some new circle you are traveling in. It is a character issue.
Having said that, AJ bothers me for a similar reason that Limbaugh etc do -- I don't go for the bombastic, overly outraged style, intended to inflame.

The fundamental difference is that AJ is for Peace and humanity, Limbaugh is a blowhard who thinks Assange should have a bullet in his head. I'm so sick of the tough guy BS persona. Guys who talk like that probably go home and dance around in pantyhose at night.
I don't mean they are ideologically similar. Olberman has the same over the top, ranting persona. And AJ probably doesn't always, I've just heard enough of it in clips that I'm not really interested in listening to his show, as a general matter.
Rand Paul does not need to be going on Alex Jones show.
Rand Paul does not need to be going on Alex Jones show.
Why? He's been on the show before and AJ is part of the reason Rand Paul is now senator elect.

AJ show is not in anyway going to help garner mainstream support this Liberty Movement desperately needs if we are going to be taken seriously. We will always be painted as on the fringe and crazy. Rand going on the show is an unnecessary risk with nothing to be gained. Rand is not his dad, his campaign was more strategic. Strategy wise, this makes no sense to associate with someone the majority of people paint as a crazy nut job.
How in the hell did AJ help Rand get elected?
Jesus Christ, stop associating mainstream America's view of Alex Jones with the corporate media's view of Alex Jones.
Most people don't even know who Alex Jones is.
What Alex Jones DOES do is reach a lot of people in the liberty movement and helps galvanize them to support various causes, such as Rand Paul. Yes, Alex Jones was integral in getting Rand elected, I really hate to break it to you. He wasn't viable until he had enough cash. Where did most of that cash come from?
Rand Paul does not need to be going on Alex Jones show.
