or maybe mods can do their fucking job instead of holding out in hopes of trolls drawing more trolls and hope it turns out to be a great expansion method, it has failed thus far. freedom means tighter local control and less cross region control, i don't know why the hell libertarian wannabes don't get that. libertarian families and social circles usually have the tightest rules and grasp onto each other, just look at the paul family.

That was my first thought.

I have a feeling that this isn't going to be the last time we hear the term Intellectual Property tossed out there in context with legislation and legal processes of representation where 3rd parties have aligned themselves with attorneys and politicians in those processes. This is very dangerous language to have tossed out there. Especially when we have private non-profit political corporations in the mix. It doesn't matter who inserted the language or how, the fact is that it was inserted into the mess.

Why what harm came in commenting and analyzing it in the midst of information coming out? A journalist, whose job involves verifying facts, should probably want to be more careful. Though I'm sure Milbank will suffer no consequences. The damage has been done.

It's not jumping to conclusions to begin forming opinions while always maintaining an open mind to revisit those opinions as new facts are brought to light.

I originally posted the link and I give Rand a ton of credit, all the time. In fact, I'm one of his biggest apologists. Don't give him credit to the point where you don't hold him accountable. He did legitimately plagiarize in the past so...

It doesn't matter. You are supposed to be better than the media. If you read the article, you knew it wasn't Bruce, so why would you feed into spreading the lie? I just read emails that were given by either Bruce Fein or his wife/not wife/spokesperson/arch enemy to wapo. This is really beyond unprofessional and retarded from Bruce Fein and his wife or whatever she is...

To publish correspondence between lawyer and a client you need to be special kind of retard or slimebag. If he was my lawyer or his firm was handling any of my affairs he would be fired instantly. I wouldnt care did he do it or his wife or his employees.

This will be forgoten in a while and lawsuit will not suffer because of it... maybe Rands reputation will suffer a little bit but not this lawsuit.

Imo, "in order to get out in front of it" by a day or two doesn't help unless the story was false and you want to squash it.
Although I was responding to jj your posts came across like I hope it isn't true and you didn't say anything silly like jj did.

4 - Bruce comes out and says he has been paid and all is cool.

5 - Contentious RPF thread results, with various "Rand Sux" - "No, you suck" responses ensuing.
