Rand Paul explains vote for Iran sanctions

People still don't understand what the word "neo-conservatism" actually means. Every single U.S Senator voted for this sanction bill. Does that mean that all of them are "neo-conservatives," including far left lawmakers like Barbara Boxer and John Kerry?

Both branches of our establishment party are neoliberal. The term means globalist, corporatists, and Keynesian. Go USSA.

On Rand, it seems the sanctions vote was politically motivated. I'm guessing he is still a closet noninterventionalist trying to stay mainstream. It's not bad politics, even if it is not ideologically pure as his father's positions.

Don't agree with him on this, as history has proven that we cannot do just "a little" and that we must go all out i.e. war nukes ect ect.

We hate that Santorum "plays the game." But when Rand does it, it is genius? Yes he votes well most of the time. But sanctions go against the very nature of what we stand for. Non-interventionism is exactly what it sounds like. You can call me whatever you want. You can say that I really don't care about liberty, or that I'm short sighted and naive. I have seen first hand what happens in these wars. And anyone who would do something like this without provocation is asking for more of the same to happen. I've gone to enough memorial services of my friends, my brothers. Maybe this isn't a big deal to many of you. Maybe for some of you this is an instance of disagreeing on one thing so it doesn't matter all that much. For me, this is one of the worst things he could have compromised on. If he some how changes his stance in the future and proves it then he may have my vote in the future. But for now, there is absolutely no way I could vote for Rand. Maybe on a Ron/Rand ticket, but that is the absolutely only way.
