I thought that was what tod was referring to. In any event having read the arrest warrant it was a State Trooper that was the affiant in this case. The neighbor admitted to it.

In our upside down bizarro world, making a threat of breaking a Senator, politician or officials ribs on the internet is a far greater crime than ACTUALLY attacking them and breaking their ribs in the real world.

There's a deterrence factor as well (which I understand some people don't believe in either). In any case, if you can beat the snot out of a senator and only have to pay $5 and spend a year in jail, they might as well be operating it like a dunking booth. Unless they increase the charges, this whole thing is a joke.

I'd say you save your response for the establishment. I know this has reaffirmed my belief that Rand is a marked man and they were sending him a message. I think the only reason why he is still with us because he either has a dead man switch in place or they don't want to make him into a martyr. It sure makes sense if he has one though, he sure doesn't mince words when he criticizes the establishment and their sacred cows.

'Uncivilized' revenge is certainly preferable to using the "Just-Us" system...

But I doubt Rand is going to beat his ass..... Next best scenario is to let the guy sell and move after covering all expenses and compensation for the trauma...

Turn a "good lawyer" ( I know oxymoron) loose on him right now and and sit back and heal up. The next few years will be worse than anything he has ever experienced.
