snatched this off a reason magazine site article http://reason.com/blog/2013/03/15/rand-paul-wins-day-one-of-cpac-helping-r#comment .. as i commented there as well his hair is still tad bit unkempt but much better than his current hair style.. better yet this is one of his past hairstyles so he isn't trying anything new which he may object to, as i imagine he is in some ways like his dad, caring very little about clothing and styling but his campaign sure comes up with nice t-shirt designs

looks great, like he just got off the raquetball court or something . . .
President Paul : "Putin was no match, really - weazing his sorry rooske ass by the second game.
But no, it is absolutely not true I am looking forward to the ping-pong match against the Chinese."

That's his real hair? I thought it was a wig. He has naturally wavy curly hair, I do too, he just needs some gel or hair spray to keep it down.

I agree with Lucille on this. Rand's hair is unfortunately a major turn off for a lot of people. As much as we think people who vote based on looks and charisma are shallow disgusting idiots who really shouldn't be voting at all, too many of them DO vote, and actually, it's one of the easiest demographics to win over. Why would you NOT pander to such a demographic when it won't affect policy?

Sadly makes too much sense...

Three posts of it in one thread. Just follow the link...

I don't think Cruz and Rubio's popularity is anything bad for us - I think they're all considered on the same team and represent the same ideals with non-significant differences.
If the three of them take turns being "the flavor of the week" I kinda think that will just help solidify Rand for voters who "aren't sure" about him yet - its tough for these people to support a Paul.

Cruz and Rubio kinda softens people up to him.

I think Cruz will endorse Rand for president over Rubio (not basing this on anything but a hunch) which will help people make up their minds.

...I really hope Jim Demint endorses Rand fairly early in the primary. He could likely be a king maker but I doubt he'll endorse at all until after the primary.

Why would he wear a wig? That's the most silliest thing ive heard. No, that's his real hair. Really. It's real. And it looks fine.

Eisenhower was arguably the best president since World War II. How on Earth did we manage not to screw up and reject him? Oh, yeah, I remember now. Adlai Stevenson ran against him both times, and had even less hair than Ike did.

God help us all...

Since Rand often likes to invoke Reagan in his lingo, perhaps sporting a mullet will complete the picture.

From King of the Hill:
HANK: Luanne, I'm thinking about just letting my hair grow.
LUANNE: Well, have you ever considered another color?
HANK: Men don't do that.
LUANNE: Oh, sure they do. Even President Reagan did.
HANK: Hey, now, if Ron Reagan dyed his hair -- and I'm not saying he did -- it was only to show his strength to the Communists.

I like Rand's hair. As long as he keeps it trimmed up, it looks great, in my opinion.

Uriah, any feedback on how his CPAC speech went down with the people who matter (Iowa residents)?

I'd be most interested if you've spoken to anyone.

The general thought is something like this: He is not as extreme as his father. If he keeps doing what he is doing then he's OK.
