Rand needs to revive and offer to spearhead Benghazi investigation and Hillary's role

That's because most shy away from *gasp* conspiracy theories! Everybody knows that at the very least, Bengazi was one big fubar. But the U.S. government sending heat seeking missiles to Al Qaeda linked terrorists? Say it isn't so!

Now here's the question. How do we go about pushing this particular angle?

SMH It's not about whether or not you have "sympathy" with the CIA agents. It's whether or not those CIA agents were funnelling heat seeker missiles to terrorists. That's a problem. A BIG problem!

If that's what Rand wants to bring to light and discuss and if that were the point of the investigation he wants, then I'm all for it. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be Rand's intentions.

They were running guns to Syria. Do you remember the big deal that was the Iran-Contra scandal? This one should be too.

And that's where my outrage is over the issue - why are we funding and providing arms to Al Qaeda? However, that is not the answer it seems Rand wants. Rand just keeps reciting the Republican demagoguery asking 'where the hell were tha marines?' which just riles up the left as it appears he's only doing it to hurt Clinton politically. If Rand starts making real questions (like why the hell were we there to begin with?) the forefront of his concern, then it will be legitimate and sincere.

I'd rather just save it for the general election campaign and maybe the primaries if he wants to make the case that he's the best option against Hillary.

Rand can't do it all, he is not a one man band. Amash and Massie have been great, and they have their own pet projects like the NSA and Internet tax/Hemp that they have been working hard on. But we need to elect more help for the liberty candidates-- there is only so much Rand and Co. can do. They are outnumbered bad.

Imagine if we elected just one other Senator as capable as Rand.
