If you say so. I don't see the point. It's a steady march of idiots demonstrating their ignorance for everyone to hear. Any caller that gets to the heart of the issue is systematically cut off. You can watch the moderator guy move his hand to the "drop call" button on his desk when he senses a caller heading off script.
You ever work at a news organization? When you're taking calls, first they're fielded by someone who gets their name, state, so the host knows where they're calling from. That and a general idea of what they want to ask related to the general topic. The host isn't there to here someone blather on about something unrelated- you stick to the subject. If you want to rant on about your latest conspiracy theory, talk to a mirror, but for broadcasts, particularly something like the Washington Journal, you stick to schedule and try to trim the fat by cutting off the lunatics that just love to get their few seconds of air time. It's even worse with email because everyone's suddenly an expert and email in about things that aren't even about the topic at hand. And if you've called frequently enough and been an issue in the past, your number can be flagged. It's not worth anyone's time to bring on a repeat offender. That time is better spent on someone who has something of value to say.
But surely you knew all that.
