Who the fuck are you talking to? I've been critical of Rand a LOT. This particular piece of his speech, however was great. I don't really see how you can argue that. It wasn't a policy discussion until you entered, we just liked the clip.

The only part I didn't like was "plus, we are going to be arming islamists to kill christians!" Religion IMO should not fit into it. Say we are arming terrorists, and I am all for it. But say we are arming islamists to kill christians, and now you a fearmongering to change the discussion.

He was appealing to his audience. You have to get them to join up first. I wish some of you guys would get that. Once they are joined up, they will consider what else you have to say, but then too, you have to present it in terms that they care about. Did you really hear the other things he said? Really hear them? If someone else would have brought up those same issues, they probably would have booed them out of the room.

They are killing Christians though. I really don't care that you don't think religion should be a part of this, it is, and you can't change that.

I was critical of last Senate Iran resolution that Rand voted for but can't hold that against him to not commend this great speech and ignore an otherwise overwhelmingly good record.
