Radio show playing "coo-coo" sound effects over Ron Paul ads!

IIRC it is illegal for a media outlet to modify or refuse any official campaign advertisement.

I think overlaying mocking sounds would count as modification.

Then this needs to be reported to Florida's attorney general.

Or reporting it to the higher ups at the radio station could be tried first--including mentioning the illegality of it, and that he does this with various ads.

I heard him claim once that he was the most influencial broadcaster in Florida. At first I laughed it off, then I though, he might be right. Every time I hear his voice he influences me to turn change the station immediately.

If we can get verification that he did in fact modify Dr. Paul's advertisement then I think we should move forward with boycotting advertisers and do our best to get this guy fired.

i used to listen to MJ aka TODD all the time. This guy is just doing it for the ratings TRUST ME.

He is on the AM station and I think we need to hannitize this fucker soon.

If he cares so much about his precious ratings, lets see what he thinks when we picket outside is fucking studio and start boycotting is advertisers.

A friend of mine also said something like that. Looked up his name, this Schnitt guy look like a major league neocon pimp and cheerleader of war.

My brother in Tampa told me that on today's Schnitt Show (carried all over the state on AM and on XM), that they played "coo-coo" sound effects over top of Ron Paul's ad during a break! Schnitt has been known to step on his commercials on purpose, but this is too far!

I listen to him every so often. Schnitt is a First Class Neo-Con and Israeli Firster.
His show mainly consists of playing the terror card. I'm not surprised by the soundtrack overlay, he has a real sophomoric sense of humor.

He got sued by Brittney Spears last years for using an unauthorized photo of her on his billboards.

Now he has pictures up on his website showing how he "accidentally" hit the wrong buttons. This guy is a real jerk if he thinks anyone will believe that.

*1/11/08 - UPDATE* - Schnitt says he accidentally hit the sound effect during the commercial, posting pictures showing how the accident happened ( http://s chnittshow.970wfla.com/ronpaul-sfxphoto.html ). He's even linked to this post from his website.

However, I think Schnitt should give a free replay of Paul's ad, and anyone else's commercials that were affected by this error, if he hasn't already. But I have reports that Schnitt has stepped on Citgo commercials too, making fun of Chavez while they play. So, error
or not, I appreciate Schnitt's response and hope that this just doesn't happen again on any more commercials on his show.

I really don't get this - it would take about 30 mins a day to check here and dailypaul for current buzz from grassroots - why do we always have to fret about letting the campaign know?

I bet 99% of us here - if we were paid staffers on the campaign - would be in touch here DAILY.

Participating in these forums would be an issue. Reading public information on the internet is not. Being in touch with the people shows the sign of a great leader. If I worked for the campaign I would damn well be reading these forums and all the Pro Paul websites but I would never participate in them.

first of all I contacted our State Coordinator.... the campaign gives him a list of stations they are advertising on and the times the ads are suppose to run... JUST FOR THIS REASON. If you have a problem with me sending an email to the campaign or our state coordinator about this... Why not IM me instead of looking like a jack ass in the thread.
