Radio Host asks Cruz about his wife, the Goldman-Sachs Banker

And a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

It was a brilliant co-option of the tea party. Ron Paul played his part in getting this stooge in office.

So do you think Ron was fooled or in on it? Just curious. I"m not above criticism of Ron.

Ron had said previously that he always endorses TX GOP nominees for office. That would include Cruz. It had to be for that reason alone, given Cruz' background. Heidi is most likely a direct Bush family member.

And the Koch Brothers are a member of Bilderberg. What is your point?

It's not a conspiracy theory. One of the things that launched the "tea party" (the teocon version of it) as anger over the bailouts. And Cruz is married to an executive of one of the largest recipients of bailout money. And it wasn't a conspiracy theorist who brought this up. It was a conservative talk radio host.

And Cruz can be opposed to the bailouts, while still being in love to someone that works for Goldman Sachs. You guys are digging for straws here

That's simply not the case here. Ron Paul endorsed Cruz in the runoff with David Dewhurst, Cruz was not the nominee at that point.

While that is theoretically true, in practice it never works that way. Name ONE significant politician ever who pursued policies in conflict with his/her own spouse's interests.

Making bank through the spouse is standard practice in Washington DC.

You are correct. Here's the actual endorsement letter:

I can't say Cruz has come anywhere near fulfilling the rather lofty claims Ron makes about him.

Regardless, being a warmonger and married to a Goldman/CFR/Bushy is a dealbreaker for me. The company you keep.....

This is so disrespectful. I swear some of you conspiracy thinkers are retards. Instead of attacking Cruz for his antiliberty issues, you attack his wife for working at a bank
As a current college student majoring in finance, I'd do almost anything to hold half of the resume/positions she holds. I don't know one person working in asset/wealth management who doesn't aspire to work for JP Morgan, advise the President on economic issues and advise on high-level trade policy... I don't exactly think her Resume gleams of Liberty and Austrian Economics and the CFR thing is an issue but you can't attack someone simply for working for a top financial firm and being in positions to advise the President on economic matters. I also would say her resume alone does't mean she isn't a Conservative... If it's further looked into and turns out she's a neo con new world order operative/shill, that's a different story.

Ron Paul: "We don’t need the likes of Senator Cruz to protect us by supporting wars that are neither morally nor constitutionally justified. We cannot save the constitution by destroying it."

Remember folks... most, if not all wars, are banker wars.

Sure. And Ted could oppose Obamacare while being married to Hillary Clinton. Anything is possible. But there is nothing wrong with bringing it up. And go jump off a cliff with your "you guys" crap. Again it was a conservative talk show host who brought this up! No "conspiracy theory" here. Sorry to disappoint you.

Oh gawd they keep breeding :(

And keep going with some version of "George." It's like George Foreman naming all his kids George. (Okay, not quite as bad since GF's kids are all in the same nuclear family.)

wall street and the MIC feed off of each other... which is why NeoConservatives are like a gift from God for these people.

Spouses are normally not prominent so asking that question is nearly impossible to answer. We also haven't even heard his wife's viewpoints on all issues. Furthermore, assuming her association with Sachs means she is some NWO banker is conspiratorial at best. When Paul got donations from Sachs workers, what was his response?

Which is my point. Anyone in finance would dream to work for Goldman Sachs.

There is nothing wrong with bringing up conspiracies? Where is the definitive proof Cruz works for the bankers and his wife is some NWO shill? Conservatives have a history of being conspiratorial. How can you say "no con theory" here?

As for Cruz being a warmonger, you have to be kidding me. Especially with both Rand and Ron's voting records
