You don't think they did? Is there a reason behind that?

Cruz was a big underdog. Their endorsements were huge. Ron Paul was the only Congressman from Texas to endorse him in the primary, and Rand Paul was the only sitting US senator to endorse him. It was a miracle that he won, and there's no way he would have without them.

viewed that way, you could view it that rand dropped out to give cruz a chance.

however, ron isn't endorsing him this election. And after reading up on cruz, cruz would have to explain a bunch of things for me to think he really is a freedom candidate.

Well, that's a dumb ad on the part of Cruz people. People will now support Don even more.

I'm not calling him a freedom candidate. Nor am I supporting him for president. But he has been arguably Rand's best ally in the Senate. And I still think it's definitely true that he owes his senate seat to the Pauls.

First, this is typical Cruz slimy tactics; he is never responsible for what someone else did in his name. Second, I would say there is something strange going on in the Cruz household. Now, what I am about to say is pure speculation, but it is based on experience. I have 7 years experience in early childhood development. The older Cruz child definitely displays behavioral issues, "acting out". Her squirming away from her father and putting the horns over his head, but also the strange behavior in that strange ad when Cruz had his wife and two daughters sitting with him while he read a story book...this is the video that resulted in a cartoon picturing his children as monkeys and Ted as the monkey grinder. If you recall that ad, the elder daughter's behavior was odd, to say the least. It was like she was trying to act...very dramatic and obviously not natural. Now, on the other hand, the younger one seems withdrawn. We had a similar situation where I worked with two brothers. The older was acting out, terrible behavior, the younger one cowered and wet his pants. The parents appeared "normal"...both worked, the kids were clean and well fed,not physically abused, parents seemed responsible. We eventually found out that the parents were coming home from work and locking the kids in the basement all evening so they could sit around and drink all evening! I'm not saying this is the exact scenario in the Cruz household, but there is something going on behind closed doors with those kids....maybe Mommy is not so sweet and Daddy covers up for her? Just wondering...

Well, Heidi is as entrenched in the Bush family, as is Ted. They described their marriage as the "first Bush marriage". She held several positions in Bush administrations; the last with Condoleeza Rice in Dubya's administration. She also participated in a CFR Task Force, "Building a North American Community".

Very little has been said about Cruz's father's years as an alcoholic before he turned to religion, and there's never been any explanation as to when and how Cruz acquired the step-sister he says died of a drug overdose. I undertand that Cruz's parents were apart at some point, but which one of them remarried and started a separate family? There don't seem to be any details about Cruz's early life.

It's said that one alcoholic's dysfuntion negatively affects three generations of that family - the alcoholic himself, his children and his children's children. It's possible they are concealing a whole lot of dysfunction.

And what about her? He is an absentee father most of the time, and she also works full time and seems to be career driven. But, there is some type of out of ordinary behavior taking place in that household; you can't take literally what children say or don't say, but the behavior is telling...the oldest child definitely is asking for help.

There's been times when I almost wanted to like Trump for his brashness and independence. But what a terrible, petty, scum bag thing to do. Attacking someones wife? Good fucking grief, this guy is the worst and may even drive me to vote for a democrat if my state happens to be in play this year.
