For those of you who are *libertarians*. Obviously, if you're not a libertarian, you shouldn't take this quiz. Or maybe you should anyways, to see what kind of libertarian you are the most of (you've obviously got *some* libertarian in you if you're on these forums).

Decent quiz. Some questions were asked poorly, so on those I selected the neutral button. Not a bad quiz for a quickie.

My Quiz Results said:
You Scored as Anarcho-capitalist.

Anarcho-capitalists are libertarians who oppose the state entirely and propose to have a free market in the provision of security and arbitration. The term anarcho-capitalism derives from Murray Rothbard to describe a stateless society based on the principles of laissez-faire or the philosophy in support of such a proposition. Anarcho-capitalists may tend to still associate more with the political right and make use of the political process, unless they are agorists or left-libertarians at the same time.

I don't understand the terms "left libertarian or socialist libertarian" those seem like oxy-morons. I view libertarian as faaaar right, and anarchist as the end of the road right.

I agree.

No offense Chomsky, RedStripe, et al.

Libertarian Socialism was actually the first type of Libertarianism. From what I understand, many early socialists weren't in favor of governmental control over the market. They opted for more market-based solutions (mutual aid, worker co-ops, & whatnot). I don't understand their ideas completely at this point so I hope someone more knowledgeable can answer for you.

I do sympathize with Libertarian Socialists (Mutualists specifically) on things like rent, intellectual property, pushing for worker co-ops, and Common property as a replacement for public property.

To add to my above comment, I saw gary johnson on fox the other day and they called him a republican who leaned left on social issues. I have always felt that being anti-drug war and not being involved in marriage were far right positions and that republicans were simply not being conservative on those issues. Sure a leftist can be anti-drug war but ultimately it seems for different reasons than someone on the right would be. Above all else i am anti drug laws because i believe the gov't has no authority and should have none in the matter of what i put into my body. That is a small gov't position not a leftist one. Liberals, sociolists and those on the left believe the gov't has the moral obligation and the authority to fix societys problems at any cost. I am a Ron Paul supporter because i believe him to be one of the only true republicans still around.

I voted before noticing there is a quiz I was supposed to take, lol.

I didn't think to copy the full results and couldn't bring them back up without retaking the whole quiz, but I remember 98% Anarcho-Capitalist.

Whoever made the quiz cannot spell: business - synonymous - opportunity - candidate :and seems to think the abbreviation for Central American Free Trade Agreement is KAFTA.

Several of the questions are a bit strange. For example, "In the meantime, immigration should be restricted." Huh?

BTW this is my 1,776th post!

I disagree with the poll. According to it, I'm a more radical anarcho-capitalist than Sentiend Void and ClayTrainor. I scored "Agorist".

Agorists are market anarchists or anarcho-capitalists (often former anarcho-capitalists) who have moved in the direction of rejecting participation in the political process in favor of more direct action in the form of economic secession and civil disobedience in general, with particular emphasis on making use of black or grey markets. Agorism could be viewed as a radicalized version of anarcho-capitalism, or a radicalized outcome of taking it in new directions. Agorists tend to be more closely associated with the traditional anarchist left than many anarcho-capitalists.

Left-libertarians are libertarians that are more associated with the anti-authoritarian left than other libertarians. Left-libertarians can be minarchists, but many are anarchists who are in alliance with the anarchist left. Left-libertarians are more critical of conservatism and corporatism than most libertarians. They view libertarians in a hsitorical context that is interconnected with the history of the left.

Scored Left Libertarian.

I scored 100% Anarcho-Capitalist, which I expected. But also, strangely enough, I got 92% "left-libertarian", a phrase that just confuses the heck out of me.

I had a three-way tie between Minarchist, Anarcho-capitalist, and Left-libertarian, but a tie-breaker question gave me Minarchist.

I think it just means that you support agorism (which is counter-economics) to the same extent that I do (67%, based on the questions presented at least) as a means to illegitimize certain activities of the State. The 25% anarcho-capitalist definitely shows that you aren't a full-on radical libertarian anarchist though (Clay and I got 100%)- seems more like libertarian across the board, with some opinions mixed in here and there.

You may have scored 'highest' with agorism, though it looks more like you scored evenly across a few forms of libertarian there, so the quiz arbitrarily picked one of them for you.

I guess I got slotted as a left-libertarian. But not an exact fit...
