Quinnipiac poll: Rand Paul leads GOP candidates at 17%, Christie 13%, Rubio 12%

So I guess the PPP poll that had Cruz in 1st was just total B.S?

I'd say yes, it was total bullshit... Even when Rand did his real filibuster, the bump he received was nothing compared to what ppp was reporting Cruz received in a mere what 3 days?? The poll didn't make sense in a number of ways. One, Rand simply didn't shoot from 9-10 points in 5th place to first with a 9-10 point gain in three days time. Also we essentially knew where Rand's support was coming from by some folks dropping and certain elements falling in line. Cruz on the other hand, just seemed to gain 10 points outta no where without affecting Rand's numbers at all. In previous polls when Rand started losing points and especially when Cruz was first added, rand dropped in almost direct correlation to how much Cruz gained. Before Cruz was added to Iowa Rand was ready to go into the 30 percent range, hence IMO to keep things from getting outta hand very quickly/very early Cruz was added to prevent Rand from Ron Paul gaming the poll in Iowa which would have gave heart attacks to the Fatman and establishment republicans all over the country.

Or so he says, that's like Obama saying he really didn't support going into Iraq, simply because he wasn't in congress at the time to vote on it. I'd bet my ass if both were in a position to cast a vote to support either or both wars, both men would be in favor because that's what they are. Warmongers...
Actually I don't believe Bush was. I think when 911 happened he felt over his head and Chaney and Rumsfeld took over and did what THEY wanted.

Ron Paul was polling around the same in some polls before the primary. But in 2016 Rand is going to have to win several states in order to be viable, including IA, NH and/or SC right of the bat.

This is the message your getting across the country: Rand is the most popular. Another recent pole was Rand slightly ahead of Christie then it was Rubio, Jeb Bush, Kasich, Ryan, Jindahl, Perry, Walker and everybody else. I believe it was I Ohio.

Ron was only polling this strongly in Iowa and Iowa only I do recall all the major pollsters reporting him above 20 percent and as high as I believe 26 percent.
Ron peaked two weeks before Iowa, two weeks to early and then came the fabricated fake CNN poll showing Santorum "surging" from single digits to around 26 percent in two weeks time. Sure he got the votes on Election Day, but only after the bogus poll which none else was picking up, manipulated the public into believing it was real and all the social cons jumped on board.

To me, both the Santorum surge and Cruz poll was piss poor attempts at trying to manipulate the public into jumping on the back of a snake hoping that it would go erect. lol.. Excuse my illistration.

Pretty much all of that is accurate.

Ron Paul was on the verge of winning but the polling companies and media outlets threw their reputations overboard in order to keep Ron Paul from exposing the truth of the globalist New World Order. The decepticon media knew that Ron Paul would stop their stranglehold on power. And don't kid yourself about Rick Santorum getting the most votes. This was the handiwork of Diebold and Dick Cheney and such. And now just as Rand Paul is about to win the Presidency the globalists are sending Ted "Goldman Sachs" Cruz to foil this plot.

It was RP's treatment by the media about the newsletters and the perceived walking out of an interview when asked about it, that killed RP's surge in Iowa. I have done several posts on this showing the exact timeline of his surge, the newsletter interview walkout and the flattening and drop in the polls before the first story ever came out about santorums surge.

Yes I remember the tightening between he and Romney before the surge of Santorum, Ron was still in position to win the vote until the fake poll came along IMO.

I'm done taking these polls into consideration until after the midterm elections. I just don't get it.

Actually no it was not. The CNN fake puff job of Santorum was what caused Ron not to win Iowa.

I have already proved this to you matt. When I showed you the complete timeline and ALL the polls showing the complete halt and reversal of the surge, you had no response to why RP's 10 point surge had flattened and started to decline BEFORE the Fake polls of Santorum came out. If it was just fake polls that pushed santorum to a win then RP would NOT have come in third behind Romney.

It became clear that Newt and Rick Perry had no chance in Iowa. A lot of people didn't want Romney and they weren't going to vote for Ron Paul under any circumstance. The only only plausible choice then was Santorum. Santorum has a similar appeal to Huckabee, who won Iowa in 2008. Santorum visited every county in Iowa. Talk radio was also behind Santorum at that point too.

Conservatives mobilized behind Santorum in the same way they mobilized behind Ron in Virginia when Romney was the only other candidate on the ballot.

Cant it be a combination of the two?
Maybe it's possible that the NL media kept Ron from growing as fast as he did, but he didn't really lose any support from it. The fake CNN poll on the other hand did take support from undecideds and move it to Santorum which prevented them from going to Ron. Otherwise Ron would've won Iowa.

This only happened after the media started puffing up this poll about Santorum supposedly surging from behind.

No you didn't. You analysis was wrong then, and is still wrong. I have already been over this with you.
You were part of the campaign the campaign lost and this is why. They couldn't analyze shit and come out with the right answer so they therefore prescribed the wrong fix to problems. You have NEVER answered why RP's surge had flattened and already started down before the polls on Santorum came out.
