(I sent this out on the Yahoo Group earlier)
The good news is that we may have come in 2nd with delegates in MN. Many people -- mostly other candidates supporters -- voted in the straw poll and left. You guys knew what to do and got elected as delegates. That was precisely the plan. Y'all did great!
And if we organize again to win local conventions, we could do very, very well.
Could I get you all to email your caucus reports to [email protected] instead of to this email?
We're going to need volunteers in the office to process the thousands of reports I'm getting. If you're decent with data entry and can help, come by any morning this week at 10 AM.
We are not going to be on regular office hours at this point as we don't have steady office workers. So call ahead before coming out, as I will mostly be there in the mornings (still working from home afternoons and nights).
We will need to begin calling delegates elected from the precinct caucuses next week to see which candidate they support so we can find all of our Ron Paul delegates (we will cross reference our database, but little more than half of our supporters ever signed up online.) With conventions coming up within a couple weeks in some cases, we will need to get this done quickly, so plan some time for this starting next week.
I apologize that I am still not able to respond to most email and phone calls. It's imperative that we get this next round of delegates organized quickly. That, and all my inboxes are flooded, absolutely flooded, with caucus reports. Once that's cleared up, we can get back to more normal communication.
Love you all for what you did last night. We don't have the full picture yet, but you guys really stepped up to the plate and did what needed to be done. Stay tuned for details on the next step.
Marianne
