People informed on the subject, refer to the Azov as Nazi's because of their ideology and hatred - not the patches they wear. The ideology of the Azov is publicly and unashamedly fascist and ultra-nationalist, and in interviews with them, they make their hatred for the people of Donbass, extraordinarily clear.

The same cannot be said for the DPR.

And that second patch isn't even a Nazi patch. Congratulations though on finding one soldier in the DPR wearing a questionable patch lol

One other thing to note, is that it wasn't a battalion patch or anything like that. It was just 1 stupid kid wearing that patch. Denis Pushilin has edited out that part of the video on his telegram, and my guess is that stupid kid is going to get at minimum a slap on the wrist for being stupid with his patches.

Russia has been trying to do prisoner exchanges with Ukraine....

The Russian Federation takes a daily initiative to the Ukrainian side to exchange prisoners.

On April 5, 2022, an agreement was reached with the Ukrainian side to exchange 251 servicemen. Within 24 hours, the number of prisoners of war was steadily declining. As a result, the list agreed at the last stage included only 38 servicemen, which was rejected by the Ukrainian side without explanation.

At the same time, the Russian Federation prepared 251 Ukrainian POWs in full, including transporting them to the source area for the exchange.

During April 6 and 7, 2022, the Russian side declared an exchange format of 251 people for 251, while the Ukrainian side kept reducing the lists and eventually rejected the exchange.

The prisoner-of-war exchange planned for April 8, 2022, due to the fault of the Ukrainian side, once again failed to take place. The Ukrainian authorities overnight repeatedly changed the format of the exchange and reduced the number of prisoners of war declared for exchange, planned exchange was subsequently rejected by the Ukrainian side also without explanation.

The explanation is pretty obvious... Ukraine is executing the PoW's. Tons of videos proving it (they share it openly on telegram because they are proud of it).

Meanwhile.... the below is how Russia treats Ukrainian's PoW's. Note the distinct lack of murdering...
