I don't post much on my blog but this latest entry might strike a tone with the 'sovereignty' crowd. It's mainly a giant question on WHY things are like they seem. Some people have figured out the answer and I'm just starting to decipher it. Much help is appreciated for any insights or missing info. I feel this is the root problem of our country.

I found it interesting that people could be labelled a "homeowner" but get their home taken away by someone that doesn't own it. But maybe they do? If your home and land is paid off and you don't pay your property taxes, they can take the land and the house. And this is the Land of the Free?

If I post this on the Romney/Gingrich/Bachmann/Hannity forums a few heads might explode, but surely there are a few people here that can attest to this atrocity? Is there any truth left in personal sovereignty?

Private property rights in the United States are at best only partly respected, which is tantamount to saying they are not respected at all as I believe that where rights are concerned there is no such thing as a half-measure.

It is abundantly clear to even the more meager intellects among us that if property is truly private, the implication is that nobody but a thief may take it from you without consent. Property tax is as immoral as taxation can get for it strips one of true ownership along that rotten old saw of "greater good" such as schools, roads, sewers and so forth.

There is nothing much fancier about it than that. If my property is indeed private, then nobody may trespass against me. If they can, then my property is either NOT privately held in fact, or those threatening trespass as the means of extorting other properties of mine (tax monies) are indeed criminals in the truest and most rank sense of the term. Make of this what you will.

That's it in a nutshell.

There was a time in America when people did own their land allodial title. They were sovereigns. It's good to be king of your land. Now the bankers own everything. They told us they would own the Earth, and they do own everything as evidenced by most people pay them monthly for their home, education, car, toys, and on and on. Bankers own it all ... everyone else is a slave to them.
"Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin. Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money, and, with the flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again. Take this great power away from them and all great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for then this would be a better and happier world to live in. But, if you want to continue to be the slave of the bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let the bankers continue to create money and control credit." - Sir Josiah Stamp, President, Bank of England (2nd richest man in England)

And even taking it to a different level, there are so many ordinances, state, and local laws that inhibit the "property" owner on how they can retaliate against a home invasion. Just as an example, if you use intent to kill a trespasser you can be charged murder. Instead, if you shoot for the legs or a non-vital organ it is okay. All the while this supposed private property is being looted.

It sort of makes sense when they say, "Don't take the law into your own hands." Well sure, I'll just relinquish it to the rightful property owner!
