As we all know there was a candidate running this year that predicted much of what we have seen the past few weeks. Unfortunately this person was silenced. Ron Paul seems to be the only one that consistently has been ahead of the curve.

Here is my next big idea:

Ron was Right

1. Phase One: We develop a website with the cold hard facts. Videos that show Ron Paul stating all of this months ago. Speeches from the house floor from the past telling nobody the truth of what could happen (and has) with our economy. It will have briefs for better economic theories. We will have information about preparedness now that it's already hitting the fan. It should be a full service site with e-mail, newsletters, and forums.

Would need to get a domain name, and someone who knows web design, graphics. Also need a research group to track down all relevant information. The quicker the better.

2. Phase Two:
Do what we do best... "Info Bomb." We hit youtube, e-mail, and of course paint the town "Ron was Right" signs.

We need a few people on this part to develop videos, to create new graphics. We need EVERYONE to participate with sign bombs just like the primary days.

The problem with the web site is that it will only be viewed by existing Ron Paul supporters. IMHO.

UTAH,

Check this link out:

I love the idea. If the layout were done just right, we could have 30 years of Ron Paul predictions, from Lebanon in the early 1980s to the current economic crisis unfolding now, and then segue into what he has predicted that has not yet happened (police state, crash of the dollar, NAU, globalization).

You could add sometime to the bottom of the banners saying "For more information visit RonWasRight.org or whatever.

That is the plan :) just banners with "www.RONwasRIGHT.com (or what ever address. Or the site on the bottom. Some signs with out the site though to pique interest just like the first sign bombs "Who is Ron Paul?" and "Google Ron Paul"

Sounds like a good idea

I've considered getting a handwritten sticker to put on my bumper next to my RP08 sticker that says "WAS RIGHT!"

Secondly, the signs have to have a hook. And it has to say "Ron Paul was right".

Something like
HOW'S YOUR 401K DOING?
RONPAULWASRIGHT.ORG

HATE THE $700 BILLION BAILOUT?
RONPAULWASRIGHT.ORG

DON'T LIKE THE GOVERNMENT GIVING YOUR MONEY TO WALL STREET BANKERS?
RONPAULWASRIGHT.ORG

you should include contact lists for all the naysayers so we can spam them with "told ya so" messages! ;):)

Clips showing all the major presidential candidates saying how great the economy is should be included too, along with McCain's deer-in-the-headlights look at Ron's question on the PPT (zoom in on this).

Also clips of Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan, Jim Cramer, etc. etc. etc. saying there was no housing bubble and everything is great, etc.

Then we get on blogs, websites, and newspaper sites, and link the website. We have to educate America, and fast!

I like this a lot. It's the best way to get skeptical people from all sides of politics to open their minds a bit. Simple ideas are always the most effective.

This is a great idea, but a rather ambitious project to undertake given the multitude of information. Do we stop at monetary policy, or should it be extended to foreign policy and domestic affairs?

I don't think this needs newsletters, emails, etc..

I think it would be very effective as a very clear and streamlined list of instances where Ron was right with hyperlinked text to separate pages or youtubes with the "proof". Users could submit instances for posting and the site owners could verify them before posting. I think the "blog" format that a lot of Ron Paul sites use is too boring. It would work better to have a long list of 1 line "things he was right about" on a single page with a picture of Ron Paul at the top. Then, as others have suggested we can all go into grassroots sign and shirt making mode creating things that will send people to the site.

Ron was Right!!

About the Federal Reserve

About the value of the dollar

About inflation

About the stock market bubble

About etc...

Then hyperlink each subject to the "proof" for that topic...ideally You Tubes of Ron Paul speeches or news interviews although links to news articles where Ron Paul is right about something would work too. The main thing is that as many as possible be mediums that anyone (even non RP folks) would consider legitimate. Dated videos, mainstream news articles, publications, etc...
