Pro-Paul group unleashes fiery attack ad

I personally dont like it. I thought it was a mistake... partially because of Bentons reputation. Now when I see memes being created from that video and people use its pictures, gifs and use it as avatars, now when it went viral and soon will get 500.000 views... well....now it might be a good thing.

Benton is another issue. He is family to Ron and Rand. You dont choose your family and blood is thicker than water. Rand couldnt have him on his campaign team but since he is family he couldnt just tell him to piss off. I think that Rand played the card he was dealt perfectly. He gave Benton a Pac. This means: no communication between them, no coordination, no money transfer between them. If Benton screws up it will be limited and not tied directly to Rand. He will not spend any Rands campaign money. If Benton does good... well then it is good.

The regional talk radio show host in my area LOVED the ad, shared it on facebook and I believe talked about it on air. He mentioned how it reached out to a different demographic and Rand was the only candidate going after the young vote. So outside of our panic circle, people seem to like the thing.

I can't help but smile when I watch it.

Like P.T. Barnum said, no-one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. So I have to begrudgingly say that maybe the video was a good thing after all.

I think the video was a good thing too, because I believe it increased the likelihood that people won't send money to be administered by Benton.
