Another CNN debate. I doubt they'll even invite him to this one.

More CNN debates on the horizon

LOS ANGELES (CNN) – CNN announced Thursday that it will partner with the Ohio Democratic Party and the Ohio Republican Party for back-to-back presidential debates at the end of February.

With the race for each party nomination likely to extend beyond the February 5 Super Tuesday contests, it’s increasingly possible the critical battleground state of Ohio – which holds its presidential primary March 4, along with three other states — could very well determine the 2008 Democratic and Republican nominees.

"Ohio will once again decide who wins the White House,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern. “The Ohio Democratic debate is important because it will allow the next President of the United States to address the issues most important to Ohioans."

Republican Party Deputy Chairman Kevin DeWine also highlighted the state’s potential kingmaker status. "No Republican has ever won the White House without winning Ohio,” said DeWine. “It's a critical battleground state in November that could play a deciding role on March 4. We're proud to partner with CNN on this debate in advance of what could be a decisive primary election in the Buckeye State."

The Democratic debate will take place Wednesday, February 27, while the Republican debate will follow on Thursday, February 28. The network said further details will be released soon.

We raise hell if they try and exclude him. Who'd watch a debate between McWar and Rommel anyway?

After Tuesday, they'll have no choice. They'll have to include him.

Of course, if CNN and Anderson Cooper keep getting manure deliveries, they may tell us to kiss THEIR asses.

I think we should treat Ohio like we did New Hampshire....Its that important

If this is true and RP gets invited, then bombard CNN with complaint and ask them that Wolf Blitzer moderate the GOP debate!!!!

*in Ted Koppel-style inquisitive voice*

Will... he... be... invited?

Actually anyone know how you go about getting tickets? I wouldn't figure they'd be on ticketmaster or anything. lol I'm a precinct captain so would it be something where I could ask the campaign for a few of them?

I'm in Niles, Ohio and I would definitely buy tickets to this if RP is in it.

Once details come out, I will be quite active in making sure that he is.

edit: by the way, if you want to come to a state where hell can be raised, its Ohio

Ron has to do well next week to stay in these debates. The Dem race being down to two makes it harder for Paul to get an invite unless he does better this weekend and next Tues.

Let's get the boots on the street this weekend!!!!! Hit the phones at night for your precinct. Let's get it done! It's ours if we want it.

If this is true and RP gets invited, then bombard CNN with complaint and ask them that Wolf Blitzer moderate the GOP debate!!!!

Exactly! I like Wolf.. Because Wolf likes Paul.. BUT because Wolf likes Paul.. he won't be moderating.

Ron Paul said about Wolf Blitzer, "...he gives me a fair shake...." Fair is the last thing they want to be with the Dr.

It all hinges on Super tuesday. If Ron can come out with a few wins, they will have to invite him.

hmm, if Ron is at this, I'll definitely consider buying tickets....provided Ron will be there.

Any idea of the location?

What will they do if Romney and Huckabee have dropped out? LOL! A one-man monologue that will surely put the public to sleep or a two-man debate?

Huck might might drop, but I don't think Romney will. Even IF he wanted, the establishment might decide to keep him in so RP doesn't get exposure. The last thing they need is a McWar vs Ron Paul debate, because then McWar will be butchered.
